It's 7:30 AM on the east coast and the message at the top says 2 wieners on line and 40 chickens? Can that be right? The wiener/chicken ratio is 2/40? That's a lot of lurkers isn't it? I am wondering if either of the Zims keep any data on how many lurkers there have been historically and is this an anomaly this morning?

Just curious: Will excluding the Googlebots from the guest count have any affect on the "views" count for the site? Also, would it be possible, having excluded the 'bots from the guest count, to give them their own category (i.e. X wieners currently online, Y chickens, Z Googlebots)? Again, just bored, errr, I mean curious.
EDIT: LOVE IT! THANKS!!

No, they're only excluded from the guest count, but they're still accessing the site, so the counter will keep getting triggered.

Well, it's POSSIBLE, but.....ah, hell, why not. :)

Inform the uninformed...what's a Googlebot?
You could try looking up the term in a search engine (google.com), although I don't know what you'd get.
I think your answer may be in here (wienerboard.com).
I apologize for being a Buffy/Angel mark.
