"Believe it or not, the current going plan for WrestleMania 20 at Madison Square Garden is for a huge Kane/Undertaker match. The match would likely have a major stipulation, but it is just to far off to know what that will be at this point.

They are definitely leaning towards going through with the match and a roster trade should be made prior to WrestleMania XX.

We'll keep you posted."

Well...could be, interesting(if true). What do you think?
I personally see this an interesting way to go with the new Kane character. Possibly for Undertaker too.

If this is true, perhaps Kane will FINALLY get a valid win aganist Taker. If they want Kane to be a monster, this is the way to go as beating Taker at Mania would give him a huge rub. Hell, move Kane to Smackdown, have him beat Taker with a Tombstone, then have him Tombstone Angle, play an injury angle their and you can have a great fued.

At least they'll both be sucking in the same match, instead of sucking in two separate matches.

like that PPV where they had kane vs test and undertaker vs booker t instead of the more logical wcw(?) tag title match.

Yes, i liked the dead, but unfortunately i dont see but one only winner on this match, how old are Kane. How old is Taker. The Undertaker is a living legend that may be in his way to retire, but Kane its the present, i also would like to see Kane face the superstar of smackdown, Angle, Guerrero...Big Show (can you imegine??) then we will have Kane running free in Shane's Land..that probably would be great..i agree the deal Taker vs Kane..result? Kane wins

cheers

It'd be a great idea to have Kane invade SD b/c "he's a lunatic" and attack Taker, Angle, Steph. A nice way to set an interpromotional feud again. Is it too soon? I'd love to see Kane demolish Taker at WM. Not a great match and the rub would not be THAT much, since Taker is playing midcard anyway (and don't blast me for that comment).

Seeing as how they've both been stepping up their game lately, I take issue with this.

I think Taker laying down for Kane would be a perfect culmination of his 'Mania streak, as Kane is his heir apparent. Seriously, these are the best big men in the company right now, and this match could kick serious ass if it's booked right.

A-Train > Kane

Hell, Big Show has been involved in more entertaining (IMO) matches this year than Kane.

What are you smoking, and can I have some? Kane has been good lately, and I have always thought he is one of the better big men out there. I think Show is good, but to say A-train is better is, IMO, an incorrect statement.

Kane uses the generic big guy offense: (weak) punches, big boot, side slam, chokeslam. Top rope clothesline is pretty weak, too. A-Train mixes up his moves pretty well, and tends to work the back leading to his finisher.

Maybe it's the lack of good workers on Raw (outside of a couple guys), but Kane just bores the hell out of me. Last Kane match that I dug was against Kurt Angle on SD pre-roster split, and that was because of Angle.

I'd rate A-Train ahead of Kane, too. And the Undertaker is fine unless he starts in with that submission crap and works the armbar for ten minutes.

Does anyone actually believe the writing 'geniuses' have put any thought into Mania while we're still 6 months away from it? To rephrase it a bit: Does anyone have faith in the writing 'geniuses' having any clue with what to do with Mania 6 days before Mania?

Aside from all that Fire/electricy crap, I find kane a lot more interesting now than before he got unmasked. It's just too bad he has to waste time with shane so Little Wonder can tr out some new spots.

Throw Kane in there with Brock and Angle and see what happens. As far as UT/Kane at Mania, yeah, I could live with that. I don't see an alternative suitable opponent for either (save maybe Goldberg vs. Kane), and I'll bet it would get a good reaction...the fact that these two have been kept away from each other for so long now, and the changes in Kane that have happened in that time, will let the feud seem fresh again. And I'll bet that the first time they come nose-to-nose in the Rumble (come on, you know that's gonna happen) will be huge.

I would love to see Kane vs Undertaker. Something most of you are forgetting is that by Wrestlmania people are going to be sick of the "monster" kane. I think undertaker will give Kane a good beating and kinda shake him out of his trance. Or no, scratch that. Better idea, have Undertaker win, and after the match have Kane start beating the hell out of him. Play an injury here and possible have the dead man leave, and have this take Kane out of his "trance", seeing his own "brother" near death. Anyone agree?

No.

Kane as a monster heel might not be that fresh by the time WM comes along, but that doesn't mean you have to reset the character yet again. It just means you have to come up with new things for him to do. I think part of the problem with WWE is that as soon as they finish an angle (in most cases) they change the characters involved...is it so hard to come up with consecutive angles for the same characters? It's hard to make people care either way about a character if he changes every two months. Keep Kane as the heel monster, that's how he's always been more valuable...they just need to find more for him to do than go around setting people on fire and zapping their balls.

i heard that mabye Kane will win the rumble and defeat goldberg at mania, that would seem logically, wait, logic and wwe, a laughable concept.

Go ahead, do it
You have sexual needs (needs), desires (desires)
You want to, you need to, do it for you
When was the last time you did something, for you? (indulge)
We all know this is a physical thing, it's not like you're going to leave your wife (physical)
Look at it this way, it will make your relationship stronger in the end
What she doesn't know, wont hurt her (bliss)
You'll apprecriate your wife more (appreciation)
You play your cards right, you might even learn a few things (A+)
And believe me, your wife will thank you later (thanks)
I'm not telling you anything that you don't already know.

I really don't see that happening...I think if a Kane title win is in the cards a much more likely scenario has him winning it before year's end, Goldberg winning the Rumble, and then winning the belt back at WM.

I had this in mind about a month ago (clipped and pasted for the sake of convenience, with a new idea added):

I'd love to see Undertaker behind all of Kane's misery. Kane realizes what's happened and confronts Undertaker about it (on Raw or Smackdown! - whichever one needs the ratings boost). Undertaker's reply? Even as a child, he saw that Kane was better than he was - more handsome, better-liked, even better in their basement wrestling matches at the mortuary. Worse, he saw that Kane had replaced him in their parents' hearts, and he couldn't stand it. He set the fire to kill them all and be free - but Kane didn't die. Undertaker then realized (with Paul Bearer's help) that he could do better than Kane by handicapping him psychologically, so that he couldn't will himself to the higher place that he could have earned. Thus - the whole "scarred" farce, with willing, well-paid assistants to help reinforce the lie (Bearer, X-Pac, etc.). As Kane struggled with his inner demons, Undertaker was taking up the spotlight - and laughing at what he'd done to his brother.

"And I'd do it again."

A confused Kane points out that Paul Bearer is his father, not a hired assistant. Paul then shows up and reveals that the whole "Paul's Kane's father" story was fake - just a viscious idea Undertaker concocted over a round of beers one night. He financed it with Kane's trust fund - "how stupid of THEM to trust ME with YOUR money!". Undertaker and Paul laugh themselves silly about the whole concept of Paul being Kane's father - "Daddy!" "Paw-Paw!" "Pappy!" - until Kane storms the ring and brutalizes Paul Bearer, chokeslamming him repeatedly until half the mid-card has to pull him off.

This sets the stage for a number of increasingly brutal matches, with the Brothers Grim beating each other bloody. The PPV match to render a final answer: The Hellfire Match, using the ring of flames from the "set your opponent on fire" PPV match. "Loser DIES IN FLAMES!" During the match, one slams the other hard into the turnbuckle, breaking the ring...and, inadvertently, the Ring O'Far, setting the ring itself on fire. As the ring becomes obscured with smoke and fire, Undertaker & Kane continue to battle (until they duck through a ring trapdoor). Suddenly, a tremendous explosion occurs - and the ring is obliterated, reduced to ashes.

Both retire: neither is ever seen again.
Undertaker retires: Kane emerges from the ashes.
Kane retires: I'd rather not see that.

Steph
