Originally posted by jkIf they want this to be the best Mania ever Vince has to open his checkbook and sign some suprises if he hasn't already. I'm talking Jeff Hardy, Psicosis (who was rumoured to debut at the Rumble), Juventud Guerrera, Low-Ki, Elix Skipper and so forth. Plus the following guys can't win the title to make it a good match: Chavo, Rey, Kidman and Noble. We need a new champion like Ultimo or Nunzio to give the division some new flare. Akio would be good also because he could get a character out of it and feud with Tajiri over the title.
#1: Don't Low Ki, Skipper and the TNA guys all have contracts with TNA, which would prevent them from working for WWE? #2: Hardy is concentrating on his music, and I don't think he has the passion to get back into wrestling. #3: Has Juvi gotten cleaned up? I mean, from the drinking and drugs?
Even if they WERE availabe, what in Vince's history suggests he'd be willing to shell out the bucks for these cruiserweights, a division which he could care less about?
Originally posted by jerkflavorkoolaidI think if Low-Ki came in, dominated, and won the damn thing it would be one of the most memorable debuts ever. Low-Ki is too talented, WWE is lame for not using him.
I met Low-Ki after a TNA show last fall and someone asked him about going to WWE ... his words were "they couldn't handle me" ...
So he's deluded.
I'd tell you to kiss my ass, but I don't want to get it infected.
Low-Ki walked out of a WWE contract a few years back! He is not willing to compromise his style in order to gain their acceptance. He will NOT be signing with them anytime soon.
And he's not deluded. They asked him to change his style, and he said no, so it sounds like they can't handle him.
As for TNA contracts, I know they signed some of the talent, but am not sure who, specifically. I don't thik Low-Ki signed anything with them, and doubt Elix Skipper did either, but am really not sure.
"Can't handle me" gives the impression that he's too good for the company, which means he's deluded. There are several people in the company whose work he can't touch, and if they can change their styles he can too. I'm not saying he has to, but hell, just say it's not the place for you or you didn't want to change your style, instead of acting like you're a somebody.

im not sure about the whole rules of this CWO. is it like the slamborie 98 open where it was a battle royal and the winner fought jerichio? anyone care to explain.
and if it is liek that battle royal/winner faces chavo, i think they should give it to paul londen. not to win, burt have him be the last. alot of ppl wont know who he is and if he pulls off a good 10 mins with chavo using some of his SICK moveset he could be super over.
Fuckin' rights, I already got half a fuckin' buzz on

Yeah, that's probably gonna' be difficult, seeing as how he isn't one of the participants in it.
Who knows though. Maybe we'll get a final of Low-ki vs. London with run-ins by American Dragon and a miraculously healthy Hayabusa! And Dynamite Kid can be the guest ref!
"Psicosis (who was rumoured to debut at the Rumble)"
Uhh?
"Maybe we'll get a final of Low-ki vs. London with run-ins by American Dragon and a miraculously healthy Hayabusa! And Dynamite Kid can be the guest ref!"
BUT THEY'RE ALL BEAT DOWN BY JUSHIN LIGER~! AND HE'S WEARING AN LWO SHIRT, NATCH~!
Anyway, I believe Meltzer said he heard it would be like, everybody on the apron tagging in, elimination rules.

Doesn't former NWA Jr. Heavyweight champ Gerald Brisco still work there? Where's Nelson Royal? Denny Brown? Lord Littlebrook? GILLBERG???

Low Ki had a tryout, not a developmental contract.
Low Ki is 5'5" at the tallest and weighs 160 lbs. He'd make Rey look huge.

After SmackDown this week, the confirmed line up is:
Chavo Guerrero (C) Rey Mysterio Tajiri Jamie Noble Akio Billy Kidman Funaki Nunzio Ultimo Dragon Shannon Moore
I don't know about you guys but the cupboard seems pretty bare. Only 10 guys? I agree with jk that Vince needs to shell out for some new blood to make this memorable. Preferably Juvi and Jeff Hardy and maybe Psycosis. I also think that bringing over a couple of Raw CWs like Hurricane and Spike Dudley wouldn't hurt. That makes 15 doesn't it? Sounds about right.

I think Nelson Royal still has the coffee pot over the fire awaiting the opportunity to expound upon the history of the Bunkhouse Stampede for the next time its brought up. Unfortunately, he's been sitting by the fire for over 16 years.
Latest sign RSN's mind might be fading: The new plan is to vote for Jerry Remy's Wally the Beanbag Buddy as the Democratic Primary for President.
If I'm Paul London and Sakoda, I'm feeling pretty snubbed right about now. You might as well get every Smackdown cruiserweight into this match, so why not throw those two in as well?

After the Hurricane's appearance on RAW, I'm betting that he, Spike Dudley, Paul London & Dean Malenko will appear in the Open (if not, then one of the four).

While we're on the subject of guys who aren't in WWE...
Why not TAKA Michinoku, Essa Rios and Juventud Guerrera?
How about 7-time former WWF Light Heavyweight Champions Perro Aguayo and Villano III?
What about former WWF Light Heavyweight and former WCW Cruiserweight Champion Shinjiro Ohtani?
Alex Wright, Lenny Lane, Evan Karagias, Mike Sanders, Elix Skipper, Chris Candido, The Artist, Psychosis, Syxx and Disco Inferno are other former WCW Cruiserweight Champions who aren't currently affiliated with WWE.
(Daffney, Madusa and Oklahoma also fit that category, but I've tried very, very hard to forget those reigns).

Guerrera they could pull off, I think, because a lot of people still remember him. No TAKA because no one cares. No Essa Rios because he stinks.

You want to forget Daffney, Madusa and Oklahoma, but are okay remembering Evan Karagias, Mike Sanders, The Artist, Disco Inferno (he was too big!) and Lenny Lane?
The best they could really do by their own fanbase is Jeff Hardy.
