So, WMP 11 has been downloaded onto my computer and now all of a sudden, my WWE 24/7 subscription will no longer play. It keeps prompting me to download the security upgrade, but then doesn't take me to download it when it's offered. Even on the WWE.com website, videos don't play anymore. It's like . . .

Connecting to media . . .
Locating video . . .
Connecting . . .
Ready. (black screen)

Has anyone else had this problem and/or know how to fix it? I tried rolling back to WMP 10 but then it just said almost the same thing about the security problems and such. A lot of other videos don't seem to be compatible and keep telling me I need WMP 9, 10 or higher . . . which I have.

Thanks for any help!

I had issues with video playback in Firefox after I upgraded it to V 2.0 and WMP to 11.
There's a "Before you install" here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/11/readme.aspx#BeforeinstallingWindowsMediaPlayer11
And I think you'll need this:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=19ca4b44-2b60-4270-9c42-f5063c627f91&DisplayLang=en

Other than that it could be your browser options or your WMP options need tweaking

It sounds like you're saying you don't remember the password for your wireless encryption. If so, you're doing much better than a lot of people, who don't bother to enable the encryption. You need to access the router options. http://kb.netgear.
