I hate the WWF. If it was up to me, I wouldn't be ordering Wrestlemania this weekend, but I have a dozen or so friends who are willing to shell out cash and food to come watch it at my place. So now I'm just sitting and waiting to be surprised. And where does that surprise need to come? The WWF Title match. If this match is as good as it should be, and can somehow cast off the stink of all the bad storylines surrounding it, we will all be able to walk away feeling satisfied with Wrestlemania. So on to a few things that have to be done to make this match great, and a few more things that I would do if /I/ was booking this crap.
First things first, the Undisputed Champion of the World Title match is probably not going to be Sunday's Main Event. However, Triple H, Jericho, Steph and whoever else is going to be involved in this match in any way need to treat it like it is the Main Event. This match needs to have the sizzle and the spark, of not just Main Event, not just Main Event at a PPV, but THE Main Event of Wrestle Freakin' Mania. If they bring anything less than that to this match, the WWF, it's damn title, and it's damn Wrestlemania is nothing but a sham (well, maybe that's too harsh, but I will be severely disappointed). That's my rule for this match, no matter what shockingly stupid thing they book to happen, if they do it well, they'll still come out of all that shit smelling like a rose.
Now on to what I would book: The Double Turn. Let's break it down. Steph/HHH has completely overshadowed Jericho/HHH. HHH doesn't need this win. Jericho will be cemented as a star with this win. Wrestlemania is in Canada. A heel has left the last two Wrestlemania's with the title, nobody wants it to happen a third time in a row. Undertaker is awesome. HHH always makes a great heel who can feud with any babyface on the roster. Jericho makes a great tweener who can taunt anyone on the roster and get cheered for it. Steph/Jericho has been the worst thing to ever happen to Jericho. Jericho is Canadian. Nobody likes cheering for "The Cerebral Assassin".
So what does this all point out to me? If Steph turns on Jericho and rejoins Triple H we can finally get rid of this horrible Steph/HHH feud that has been absolute torture. If Jericho then overcomes the odds and WINS against the heel Triple H and his bitch of a wife in front of 90,000 screaming Canadians, he will be have finally won 'The Big One' and will have joined The Rock, Austin, Triple H and all the others as a legitimate star. And all the fans will be able to sit there and excitedly scream at their friends, "That was fucking awesome man!" and completely forget all the bullshit over the past few weeks. And of course, then the still have Hogan/Rock to watch which should bring the house down for a second time in one night.

Of course, after all this Vince would then get to lord it over all the fans who doubted him and didn't buy Wrestlemania.

Must be nice. I'm ordering WM, all of my friends are coming, I'm providing the food (including my nuclear salsa) AND I'm paying for the PPV. Bunch of freeloaders. Why am I willing to do this? Because I trust...yes, TRUST...the WWF that this will be an outstanding PPV. I just have the funny feeling that this show is going to rock our faces off and we are going to eat our words. I'm letting everyone come to my house without paying because I would be getting WM whether they came or not.
RVD/Regal will kick total ass. So will HHH/Jericho. And Hogan/Rock? I'm going to feel 9 years old again. How often does that happen?

Well, like I said, I keep waiting to be pleasently surprised, but it hasn't happened yet. It makes me nervous that the shows this close to Wrestlemania are so not entertaining to me. But, like I said, if Triple H and Jericho bring it I have no doubt that they could pull off a five star match. Add to that any decent affairs from the rest of the card and I will be mostly satisfied (though because it's Wrestlemania, I want more than decent affairs).

I know why, because so far this entire storyline is Trips vs. Stephanie
Yes, but this might be Jericho's saving grace. Maybe they are building Stephanie getting the pedigree up so much because Jericho is going to retain, but Trips will get his revenge in the end when he finally gets her with it after the match. Originally I wanted to see HHH go over to finally have a face win at WM (it's been three years now unless you count Austin as a face last year because of his reaction), but the way Jericho has been treated it would be sweet as hell to see him go over in Canada.
"...the people ran, they ran all right, they ran right to the toilet, pulled their pants down, took one big Hulk-a-CRAP every time you opened your mouth!"
Look at the epic WrestleMania main events: I: Hogan/Mr.T vs. Orndorff/Piper II: Hogan vs. Bundy (Title) III: Hogan vs. Andre (Title) IV: Savage vs. DiBiase (Title) V: Savage vs. Hogan (Title) VI: Hogan vs. Warrior (Title) VII: Hogan vs. Slaughter (Title) VIII: Savage vs. Flair (Title)/Sid vs. Hogan IX: Hart vs. Yokozuna (Title) X: Hart vs. Yokozuna (Title)/Hogan vs. Yokozuna (Title) XI: Michaels vs. Diesel (Title) XII: Hart vs. Michaels (Title) XIII: Undertaker vs. Sid (Title) XIV: Austin vs. Michaels (Title) XV: Rock vs. Austin (Title) XVI: Rock vs. HHH vs. Big Show vs. Foley (Title) XVII: Austin vs. Rock (Title)
EVERY Main Event has involved the title or Hogan, or both. So, suffice it to say that X-8 will have a DOUBLE main event, or else I will beat up Vince myself.

Jaguar.. that plan actually sounds really awesome, and I think we'd all love it... which is why the won't do it! Anything cool you can ever think of... They actually do it maybe 5% of the time. The only time in recent memory I can think of them doing what I thought would be awesome was giving Jericho the title at Vengeance. That's it, I think. We'll probably end up with a completely boring Triple H overcomes all of Stephanie's interference, finishes off Jericho and then pedigrees Steph. That's it. But I'll pray for it..
OH GOD, Smackdown just started and they're recapping that horrible Lucy storyline!
Watching the Horsemen in 1996-1997 is, I assume, what it was like in the last days of the Roman Empire when they were down to a handful of territories, struggling to keep themselves relevant. I mean Jeff Jarrett and Mongo McMichael?
