This has been making the rounds of the Twin Cities newscasts, so maybe it's old news to you:

At least I know what to get my brother-in-law for his birthday. ;-)

From Conan O'Brien tonight....

"George W. Bush was also in a band when he was younger, but nobody can find any of the records."

Hey! I remember this! I edited this!

John Kerry's Rock-Star Past: The Story of The Electras (March 29, 2004) (mtv.com)

I remember cutting out some crap about him being a "rock and roll peaceful America visionary of hope" or some such nonsense. I also gagged a lot. I really wish someone would have asked those guys "So did you have any idea, back then, that John Kerry would one day grow up to have a head of GROTESQUE, HIDEOUS HERMAN MUNSTER PROPORTIONS?"

I am made of blue sky and golden light, and I will feel this way forever. Drums.

Well, I'm not 30 like Guru, but I did finally manage to scrape together the dough to put together some rough demos of some songs I've written over the last coupla years (including "Cedar Row" which Parts Unknown wrote the lyric to).
