I saw a poster for this movie about a month ago, and I swear to God I thought it was a joke. A movie about an evil rat trainer? All I could think of was Bad News Brown.

Also, Crispin Glover as an above-the-title star? "You loved him in Back to the Future. Now, 18 years later..." I will say that he is one creepy-looking mofo, however.

I'd love to know what anyone who's seen the movie thought of it.

Well Mr. Burns had done it.
The power plant had won it.
With Rogers Clemens clucking all the while.
Mike Scioscia's tragic illness made us smile.
While Wade Boggs lay unconscious on
the barroom tile.
We're talkin'...
Softball.
From Maine to San Diego.
Talkin'...
Softball.
Mattingly and Canseco.
Ken Griffey's grotesquely swollen jaw.
Steve Sax and his run-in with the law.
We're talkin' Homer...
Ozzie and the Straw.

. . .and it's a remake of a movie with enough success to merit a sequel which featured Michael Jackson singing a love song about a rat.

I guess the remake of Deadly Eyes can't be too far off now. Maybe this will herald a new Evil Rat boom.

A remake of FOOD OF THE GODS would be pretty sweet... yes indeed it would.

Ben, the two of us need look no more
We both found what we were looking for
They don't see you as I do
I wish they would try to
I'm sure they'd think again
If they had a friend like Ben

It couldn't be any worse than Crispin's version of "These Boots Were Made for Walking".

Well, for what the movie was, I thought it was semi-good. Lord knows the world would just stop spinning if there weren't rat movies made every so often. Of course I'm not kidding.
Crispin singing Ben just sends chills down my spine, but in a good way. Do yourself a favor and go to the movie's official site and watch the music video of him singing. It is a sight to behold.

Andy Richter does indeed control the universe.

It's a really creepy movie. Crispin Glover is really carving out a niche as the seething eccentric maniac (not to be confused with the tighly-wound suppressed maniac, a role which belongs to Christopher Walken until he decides to give it up).

That video is WEIRD. I kept waiting for Willard to snap his fingers and make the rats freak out and start eating everybody. Instead, he serenaded them and they started making out with all the girls.

SO HOTT~

Try not to get dunked on.
I wish I could work the random images thingy.

WTF is up with that video? Is that some kind of rat-loving-fetish club? It tells me nothing about the movie other than the guy sings and chicks dig rats (literally, this time). I still say Parrok the Ratcatcher could kick Willard's butt.

Causght the movie this weekend (it was worth the nothing I paid for it) and the BEST thing is that Willard's father is Bruce Davison, or for those who saw the original, the original Willard. Nice in-joke that.

As for the video. . .dammit, it's a love song to a RAT. The shit just ain't right by design.

Yet people didn't think Michael Jackson was a nutjob until the late 80's...

Check out "The River's Edge" for one of the best Crispin Glover roles ever, IMHO.

I really hate for anyone to go after a woman, but Ellen *so* deserves it. Here's a guy who's getting married, inviting people that he doesn't know, and *she's* questioning it? Puck wants attention, and she completely fell hook/line/sinker for this.
