I've been out since '03, and I would definitely look forward to going. I can understand why some people wouldn't though.

After I inexplicably got myself elected senior class president, I heard talk that the senior class president is responsible for planning reunions. I hope that's not the case because tracking down my 300+ classmates does not sound appealing to me. If it is true, when my 10th anniversary comes around I'll have to close my Facebook account.

I am still friendly with virtually everyone I really cared about in high school so I did not see any reason to go to my 10th. After hearing from a few friends who did go, it seems I made the right call. Based on that I have zero desire to go to my 20th.

My 10th was supposedly in 2005, but the planning for it was so piss-poor that I only found out about it after it was to have taken place. I might have gone had I actually known it was taking place.

Didn't go to 10th, though it looks like there wasn't an official one, just an unofficial one at a bar, and it looked pretty cool, and the people who did show up are actually people I like talking to enough that it would have been pretty fun. Most of my friends graduated a year ahead of me, or didn't graduate at all.

There's only one or two people from my year I don't have Facebook, or email for, that I'd like to know what they're doing. I'm horrible at Facebook (I forgot my own password...shows you how much I use it) and I've gotten the impression that most people aren't really up for getting super chummy with classmates they weren't already chummy with previous to Facebook.

I actually ran into my 10th by accident.

I was home in Halifax that summer and was out for some drinks one night. We entered a bar (the Lower Deck), and I realized I went to high school with basically everyone in the place.

Turns out it was the opening event of our reunion. It ended up being quite a good time.

My 10th is this year. I'm totally gonna go.

It's weird, everyone's talking about how they didn't go 'cause they still talk to all their close friends from back then, but to me it's the other people I'm looking forward to seeing. The people I was friendly with, but not really friends with. The acquaintances, not the pals.

I can think of a lot of people who weren't in my circle of friends, but who I'd talk to in the hall or in the lunch line or if I sat by them in a class. And since we weren't close, I have no idea what any of them are doing with their lives. I would very much enjoy catching up with them.

Also, my wife's on the planning committee, so I kinda have to go.

My tenth anniversary reunion was a few years ago. I didn't like high school or all but a handful of the people there, so I didn't go and I don't plan to go to any future reunions.

My case as well, although I've already bypassed my 20th.

I didn't go to my 20th, but when the 25th rolls around in a few years, I'll probably make the drive for that. Connecting to quite a few of my old classmates on Facebook has actually helped me remember that I do actually miss quite a few people I went to high school with. Not everyone, but more than I'd realized.

After graduating in 1974, I have never set foot back in my alma mater. And I have missed every reunion. The friends that have meant the most to me were found in college, graduate school, church, and work.

I spent 4 years counting the days till HS was over and I could do something. I didn't hate it, I just thought there had to be more. I applaud those of you who have enjoyed staying in touch.

My 25th is this year. I have not gone to any reunion since graduating. A couple of months ago (more like 9), I went back to my high school with my daughter to show her my old school. I actually had some pangs of re-connecting with old friends, but they went away. However, with Facebook, more and more guys I went to school with have tracked me down. I am contemplating going, but am still on the fence. Most likely, I will not go, but things may change.

I attended my 10 year and it was pretty good, but I have not attended any since then (my 25th was last year). The main reason is the people I was best friends with in high school are still a part of my life and we keep in touch. It was interesting seeing how some of the others changed, but I already knew about the people I cared about the most.

We were not going to go to our 10th (we graduated together) but decided to and had a good time. So we went to all of them since - 35th is year after next.

We reconnected with a couple people we actually like now - and a few of us have died, of course, including one last year. One of the more interesting stories is a two people who went to reunions got divorced from their spouses and ended up marrying each other - to make them the second couple from our class to marry each other. (we have them by like 28 years).

We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

There would be no point to go to mine, because I see my graduating HS class every day of the year. This is because after moving to Jersey before my senior year, I went to my church's school. They actually had just opened it up that year, so I was the one and only senior in the school.

At one point, the school felt so bad that they actually talked of sending me on a senior trip...which would have been so much fun I'm sure.

Definitely not. I haven't really managed to make a success of myself, nor have I entered into a lasting relationship, so I feel like the sort of posturing and ego-stroking attempts that go on at those sorts of things are only for people who have it better than I.

And are better at faking that they like other people.

My 10 year was in 2005 and it just seemed more like a money wasting venture so I didn't go. What also didn't help was that I only went to that H.S. for the one year so I didn't have tons of friends really. I might go to the 15 if there is one.

Speaking of which, my mother's 30th was in 2006 and she had a great time!
