As you may be aware, the famed Spectrum in Philadelphia will close later this year. I would hope (and it would only make sense) that WWE books one more event there before it's too late, since the Spectrum was such a huge part of the WWF's touring in the 70s and 80s. It would have to be a house show or TV taping though. Strangely, the upcoming Night of Champions PPV is being held at the Wachovia Center, not the Spectrum.
My wishlist would include an event, a commemorative magazine and maybe a special on the On Demand channel (a DVD might be too much to ask for).
Sadly, I have no personal memories of the WWF at the Spectrum, despite growing up less than two hours away. I'm sure others here can speak of their favorite memories.
I remember "back in the day" when the week after the WWF was at the Spectrum, you could watch the entire card on PRISM (the local premium movie channel on cable). I hope they'd do SOMETHING, but as I can't recall them doing anything for the Maple Leaf Gardens, I doubt it will happen.
The Big Show as on Excess doing Hogan and Savage impersonations, and Terri asked if he did Golddust. When he said no, she replied "neither do I anymore." "A lot of guys on this team have a lot of bark, but no bite.
