Jericho and Trish embracing would have a perfect romantic feel to it and would give the angle closure. But quite frankly:
1. If the above happens, Christian will be an afterthought. Christian with Trish would give heat to all three performers. 2. A few heels need to go over in the midcard in order to drive the fans' hunger for the babyface in the main event. 3. Likewise, Mania could use a shocking heel turn from an established face, and this could be the key. 4. It would elevate Christian's heeldom, and make Jericho an even bigger babyface. 5. This is fucking professional wrestling, not a soap opera. A 2-3 PPV feud between Jericho and Christian over Trish's heel turn would be money and would elevate both careers. Besides, Wrestlemania will have enough high moments so it doesn't need Jericho/Trish to be together. We will have the return of Taker, the tag team of Rock and Foley, John Cena's first [US] title win, and then of course, the main events. No one will remember a sappy embrace at the end of the match. The only way it will turn any heads and do good business is if WWE can replace sentimentality with testicles.
trish must side with christian and turn on jerichio. personally heel trish may be a nice change cuase its been nearly three years of being face( feels longer). she may have a nice bitch heel thing going with her now-good repitoi.
Fuckin' rights, I already got half a fuckin' buzz on
Turning Trish Stratus heel is the best thing for the Womens Division now. With Victoria face now, it would be a good exchange. Besides, I think a good heel run would be good for her. Adding Christian, the consumate heat machine, she'll do great.
The only thing that will piss me off if this whole thing is still a part of that bet between Christian and Jericho... God, I hope not.
Peter Griffin: Oh, you people can kiss the fattest part of my ass.
I'd say to not turn Trish right now, and rather her help Jericho at WM XX. Then after a couple of months, have Jericho and Christian fight each other at a pay-per-view, for let's say, the IC belt. Have Trish turn at that PPV and join forces with Christian.
Then the next day at Raw (with WWE.com's headline saying "Why Trish, why?"), Trish explains that Jericho didn't pay enough attention, focusing more on his success with the IC Title, so she joined Christian since he gave her the attention that she deserved.
Dunno, it's just an idea.
"That party looks awesome! I mean, they have BEES coming out of their cans!" -My sister on the Eddie Guerrero YJ Stinger commercial.
If there was any half-way logical reason for Trish turning on Jericho and siding with Christian, then maybe-MAYBE-it would be a sort of okay idea. But Christian beat the snot out of Trish last week. It would a)Make Trish look like a total retard, b)Make no sense on any level wahtsoever, c)Get Jericho's face run off to the worst possible start as a sappy loser who couldn't even keep his girflfriend and best friend from shacking up together-and that's AFTER the best friend beat the aforementioned snot outta the girl, and d)MAKE NO SENSE WHATSOEVER.
Plus, this is supposed to be the start of a new era, and this shitty "HEy, let's swerve EVERYONE!" booking was already actively sucking three years ago. Just the damn couple kiss-the fans want it,f or Chrissakes!
"You're A Big Hunk Of Hero Sandwich, And You Wanna Save The Girl!"
I admit that the turn would be a little nonsensical, but there are precedents for a woman joining a would-be antagonist, and the downsides of the lapse in logic is more than made up for by the benefit to Christian's character, that being being thought of as someone who actually WINS something.
As for Trish, with the shuffling in the Women's Division, she could stand to run for a while as something other than Uber-face, and if she plays the part well, the logical lapse will be forgiven. I mean, we all forgot that she barked like a dog and all but fellated Vince McMahon, right?
EDIT: And I do admit that Lita is more ripe for a heel turn, but I think she's better suited going back with her man Matt.

Whoa, she did WHAT? Seriously, I'm not sure where I stand on this. If she does join up with Christian, that would raise a lot of questions, especially after that clothesline she took. But if she stays with Y2J, some may question that because of that whole "bet" thing. Still, Y2J could still have that going. I don't know what side to choose. So, I'll continue to play neutral.
After a quarter of a century on this planet, there's three things I know for sure... 1)Ain't nothing like a Dirty Pair marathon on New Year's Eve. 2)I'd make a fine Mrs. HHH II. 3) I'd make an acceptable Mrs. Orton. 1400 reasons to luv me!
I think there's some sort of wrestling rule for face relationships that states that one or the other of them will turn on the other eventually. That said, they actually need to officially hook-up before such a turn would have any meaning. As oldschoolhero said, a turn right now would make absolutely no sense. I know Wrestlemania is a big show, but EVERYTHING doesn't have to happen on one show. A Trish turn down the road would be fine. Allow the relationship to get established and then the turn can have meaning down the road (especially since they could establish a half-way reasonable storyline device to cause the turn).
Everything that is wrong in this world can be blamed on Freddie Prinze Jr.
Sometimes I think writers can overthink their endings and in this case the simplest solution is the best...there's plenty of time somewhere down the road for Trish to dump his ass anyway...when it would mean more.
Think of it in normal relationship terms: if the girl you like shoots you down cold, it stings for a few days but life goes on. BUUUUUT, if she returns affection, becomes important to you and THEN she dumps your ass cold for the asshole you hate the most...not only is it a bigger shock and heartbreak, but it would be ON at that point.
IMO, they need to go for the happy ending on this one, than build it up for the purpose of knocking it down.
Right on. Jericho and Trish finally gettin down is the one moment which all fans want to see, and they expect to see. If they go with a swerve here, I can already hear the "BULLSHIT" chants. It would serve no purpose other than pissing people off, and cutting a a storyline short which could potentially go on through the summer.
my smackdown create-a-wrestler will beat yours anyday
i dont see how it would be that big of piss of. what do they want a macho man-elizabeth moment. maybe they do. i dont but im only one man. actually also id like to see this still be the bet and keep jerichio heel for the only reason if benoit takes the title. if benoit takes title and hhh leaves for a bit, then who does he feud with? what top level heel is around on raw to have a good feud/ matches with. i know jerichio-benoit has been done and i would have reservations abou tthis since they seemenly will never make jerichio top level heel, but i can dream can't i.

Something along those lines. They've been building to their adorable, actual hookup for four months. And some of you despicable people are like "OH MAN TURN" and I'm like "oh man what's wrong with you."
Hart was major banged-up before taking that kick, and besides, a concussion does not end your career, no matter how massive it is. Bret milked the injury for the twelve months following it, then used it as an excuse to retire.
