The bike, the vulture, the druids, the urn/necklace, the bodybags, Percy, Mideon, etc. I want him to make several consecutive entrances in every incarnation. I want it to take half an hour. I want a Taker Buffet. A Smorgas-taker.
And he gotsta win. GOTSTA. It ought to be the shortest match on the card. Kane ambushes, goes for the quick chokeslam and Taker sits up. Kane goes for the Tombstone. Taker sits up. Kane does the jacknife. Taker sits up. And unleashes.
Deep throat thrust, flying clothesline, choke toss, rolling-eyes choke, Old School, Tombstone, crosshand pin. Done. Zip him in the bodybag and carry him out with a final wave to the MSG crowd.

I see it much like the Big Show/Kurt Angle match when Show dressed up as Hogan. It was a match starring the gimmick, not the wrestlers. Show went into full Hulkster mode and beat Angle fairly quickly. Kane's credibility shouldn't take too big a hit since he's facing the venegance of his re-dead brother. It ought to be a squash to communicate the notion of Taker's burning, seething run-for-the-hills-y'all revenge. Kane can be fed Spike and Hurricane and Rico for a few weeks and he's back in bidness.

Granted, old school Undertaker will provide enough nostalgia on it's own, but just imagine the nostalgia pop as people like King Kong Bundy and Sid Vicious came running out. And face it, as much as he sucked, anyone who remembers Giant Gonzales would pop for a 30 second appearance.
As it is, Kane winning would hurt the Undertaker's return, whereas Kane losing won't damage Kane's heat. Just have him destroy someone the next night on Raw and it's all good again. | geemoney

| #15 Posted on 18.2.04 2146.41 | | Just one problem - is there really a match? As far as the buildup is concerned, it's been toward a return of the Undertaker, not so much a match. I'm sure there will probably be a match of some sort, but I'm wondering how they set that up. It seems to me that they don't want to come out and say "The Undertaker will be back in 3 weeks" judging by Kane's "dead dead dead dead dead" promo on Raw. I don't like the strategy at all, mainly because there's a chance I don't get to catch WM live, in which case I miss the *BONG* and the return. As for the "match," a squash would be nice, but I doubt that can happen. It would be great to see them play off their earlier WM match. As for nostalgic items, the Tombstone and the darkness pin are must, but so is the DEAD GUY OUTTA CONTROL no-hands plancha(tm Scott Keith). That's enough from me. Peace. | dr wagner jr

That could mean that Taker will retire to let the character to kane... after all, The Undertaker its getting older.... really OLDER... and Kane its right now the present of the WWE and the only one that could hols properly the franchise of the The Deadman in a long termin career..
That's what i Think... Taker Loses, retires... go with a legendary record in wrestlemania with only one lose... and Kane start a very loooong feud as the NEW undertaker...

We've got years of his slow, no selling, mid card crushing ass to look forward to. And I suppose he'll go to Vince when he gets a HUGE return pop(which he will) and ask for yet another title run. | StaggerLee

NOt everybody needs 25 minutes of technical wrestling to enjoy a match. Kane is DESTROYING people as of late. Good old fasion ass whoopings. He is moving like a man whose 70 pounds lighter, and he is hitting his stride with the "psycho" portion of the charector.

Although I have no clue where they will go with the dead man gimmick, it is a safe bet that Taker will remain undefeated at Wrestlemania. I will be disappointed though to see him back as the old dead man without any chages. There's gotta be more than the slow walk, the urn and possibly Paul Bearer.
