To demonstrate that their is hope for third string catchers everywhere, Bob Ueker will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame's Broadcast wing this season.

I'll pay $49.95 for the Execute Bin Laden PPV. And I'll buy one of the lottery tickets at 10 bucks a pop to be the executioner.

Of course, Christopher Hewett died pretty recently. So, no.

Maybe they could get the precocious scamp who played his son, Brice Beckham.

(A bit of trivia made all the more pitiful by the fact that I knew it off the top of my head.)

Brings to mind two questions:

1.) Do you read Something Awful?

2.) And did you see their Wil Wheaton/Brice Beckham parody?

He has done a fine job at a young age of 25. He becomes the 8th pitcher in history to win Cy Young's back-to-back. He is also the first Cy Young Award winner with 15 wins.
