I have to think with the current situation Goldberg will be back for at least a few appearances. Afterall, WWE did put him over Lesnar at WMXX. True, Lesnar was leaving but WWE has to think he will be back at some point. WWE was quick to take Lesnar off the Smackdown site but Goldberg remains on the RAW site. WWE didn't want to pay Goldberg as much but now money is freed up because they don't have to pay Lesnar. Goldberg didn't draw big money but the WWE turned around while he was a part of the roster. WWE has turned around financially & creatively some would say.
He'll be back eventually, but I think that he has some dates in Japan he has to fulfill, so it won't be for a while. When it comes down to it, though, he's going to realize that his best way to make money is to be with WWE, and he'll be back. Hell, they could try and build him up again as a monster face if they manage to build up somebody as a monster heel in the next few months, and see if that draws any money.

Somehow, I can't see Mr. Bum Neck agreeing to work w/ Goldberg. But, then again, Mr. BM really hasn't been too smart when it comes to his own well-being.

You know what's funny? If you hadn't quoted the part where geemoney mentions Angle by name, your comment could go for over half the roster at this point.
Goldberg's future options for feuds in the WWE aren't great. I supposed Steven Richards could always be used though. He seemed to take every attempt at a broken neck John Heindenreich (sp) could throw at him.

There's Angle which could be pretty interesting and fun. There's Kane, whom he never worked a singles program with but they had that bit in December pre-Armageddon in a tag match or whatever it was where Goldberg came in and pummeled Kane in the corner and the crowd was really hot for it. Big Show if they keep him strong and have him on top, maybe. Orton with the legend killer gimmick.
And, of course, Undertaker. And Austin if Austin were in the shape to have another match.
There's a few things to do with him, and this isn't counting the possibility of someone new becoming a strong heel. None of them past Angle and Austin are particularly enticing at the moment, but I think they could make Goldberg-Undertaker seem important somehow.
The ideal thing for them to do is keep Goldberg as a mega heel while HHH is out. You could build great things like Goldberg/Benoit, or against guys like Booker T, John Cena, Guerrero, or even the money match with Austin.
Ok, now just looking at Goldberg's overall performance over the course of the last year...is he someone the WWE really wants to have around? I mean Goldberg hasn't really brought much to the table since his return. His matches are sub-par, feuds not very entertaining, he doesn't really give other guys a rub. The guy's probably a diva, he's got a huge ego, and he is NOT a company man. And after he stunk up the arena at Wrestlemania, I hope he doesn't come back.

Let me get this straight: You think WWE seeks high profits because they can lead to "ratings or PPV buys" right? That's what you're saying? I think you've got it a bit backwards.
