Looks like Eddie's keeping the latino heat gimmick. Man, I was really hoping to hear his wcw music this past monday. Unfortunetly latino heat played. Oh well,
how long before they have him driving lowriders in skits?
But hey at least he has a match this sunday. Man what are the chances of RVD and EDDIE getting at least 15 minutes this sunday. i"ll take the under!

EDDY GUERRERO IS MY FAVORITE WRESTLER!!! YEAH HE IS!!!!!
I doubt they'll get 15 minutes, but I'm figuring between 7-10 minutes, which will keep me happy till I get a chance to watch the stack of tapes piling up in my room.

I mentioned this in another post, so I'll repeat it here.
Chavo is actually using the old Eddy music, just like he did in WCW.
And I too prefer it to Latino Heat.

I say they will get 12 minutes. They are high on RVD, pun intended. I think that if it wasn't RVD, 5-7 minutes would be the duration of the match.
January 4th 1999 - The day WCW injected itself with 10 gallons of Liquid Anthrax...AKA...The day Hogan "Defeated" Nash to win the WCW title in front of 40,000.
I think the time alloted to that match is going to depend on whether or not additional matches are added to the card on Smackdown. If Albert/Rikishi is put on, then no, I don't see the match getting 15 minutes.
I also think they're going to play this feud out until the next PPV, and if they do, it makes more sense to give them more time next month. I think 10 minutes is going to be closer to the match time this month
I'm fine, how are you? Elevator, I said Transport Room. I'm fine, how are you?
So, by asking "Will EDDIE and RVD get 15 minutes at Backlash?", can I assume you're really asking, "Will RVD and Eddy be allowed to put on a REAL match that exposes 75% of the top card to be mere pretenders to the title 'Sports Entertainer'?" I hope they are, but the cynical bastard in me says the top boys will demand more time for their shitty matches, reulting in Eddy and RVD being reduced to 5 minutes with a cheesy run-in at the end.
Sometimes being cynical SUCKS!

Or running with scissors like Frasier Crane? Have really good times doing really bad things ‘Cause the show ain't over ‘til the fat lady sings Like Elton John with his candle in the wind It's hard to blow out a flame as big as him But we've all got to Wang Chung with the Grim Reaper Whether you're Einstein whether you're Beaker Death is certain so it's definitely worth flirtin' Don't expect a bright light no just curtains Life is like a penis most people don't know it But most people suck so they usually blow it"

Backlash? Hell, I'm wanting RVD and Booker T to get at least 15 minutes at the house show in Des Moines the night before.
Check out THIS card...
Bradshaw vs. Scott Hall w/ X-Pac
Intercontinental Championship Rob Van Dam vs. Booker T
Hardcore Championship Bubba Ray Dudley vs. Goldust
Jeff Hardy vs. Brock Lesnar
Women's Championship Trish Stratus w/ Jacqueline vs. Jazz w/ Molly Holly
European Championship Spike Dudley vs. William Regal
Matt Hardy vs. Shawn Stasiak w/ Mr. Perfect
Raven vs. Big Boss Man
Big Show, Crash Holly & D'Lo Brown vs. Tommy Dreamer, Justin Credible & Steven Richards
Man, this reminds me of the card I saw at the old Met Center in Bloomington, MN back around 1990 that was headlined by the Bushwackers. They barely sold the FLOOR seats.
