I have no problem with the lack of Wii games coming out, because I'm still working through MP3: Corruption. BTW, what are these friend vouchers, and what do they do exactly? And why haven't any of you guys sent me one yet?
:-p

I played some sort of early football game on the NES, but I don't think it was that game. So I won't be buying any of these VC games.

Talk about a slow week. Sonic 3 looks like it's worth the price of admission until you realize that the Sonic Mega Collection for the Gamecube's still available at any Gamestop.

Until next week, I suppose.

Buy Kanye West's "Graduation" (The W at Amazon) and YOU can help send 50 Cent into retirement (and put some money into The W while you're at it)!

OMG! NES Play Action Football! I had that on the NES. There were 8 or 10 teams in it. I used to play as San Francisco (they had Montana at QB, and Young as his backup). Tapping the A-button gave your guy an acceleration boost, but it made him ridiculously tired. So I would run with Montana until he gotten taken out of the game, and then do the same thing with Young. That San Francisco team was great. Craig and Rathman at RB, Dwight Clark (I think) at TE. It was useless passing to the right receiver (who you couldn't see on screen), though; he'd always be covered. But the left receiver and the TE were wide open.
Once you figured out the game, it was very easy though. I could win with any team against any other team.

It was ambitious, but it was no Tecmo Super Bowl.

Has anyone purchased Play Action Football yet? Did they erase the players names as they did in Tecmo Bowl?

Oh now I hope they do Super Play Action Football. I had forgotten about that game, but it was crappy/awesome! You could do NFL as well as college teams in that one if I remember right. And once you figured it out, you could stuff every single play and block every single punt. I recall winning every game by at least 100-0.

VC Japan (September 11, 2007)
- Moero! Pro Yakyuu (Bases Loaded - Famicom, 500 points)
- Chelnov Atomic Runner (Mega Drive, 600 points)
- Salamander (PC Engine, 600 points)
- G a i f r a m e (PC Engine, 600 points)

If I try spelling that last one out as one word, it deletes the part that starts with the "i" and ends with the "e." So ignore the spaces.

I picked this up because I loved Kingdom Hearts. It has a really funny combat system. You don't use the keyblade and magic, all of your attacks and healing is done via a deck of cards you customize and add to.
