VC Japan (Tuesday, May 6) - Axelay (Super Famicom, 800 points) - Burning Fight (Neo Geo, 900 points) - Super Fantasy Zone (Mega Drive, 600 points) - Star Parodier (PC Engine, 800 points)
VC Europe (Friday, May 9) - Cho Aniki (TurboGrafx-16, 900 points) - Metal Slug (Neo Geo, 900 points) - Break In (TurboGrafx-16, 700 points) - Puyo Puyo 2 (Mega Drive, 900 points)
WiiWare North America (Monday, May 12 - descriptions stolen from Wired | GameLife) - Defend Your Castle: 500 points - Based on the popular browser game, your job is to defend your castle by picking up the little invaders who try to storm it and fling them away by flicking the Wiimote. The WiiWare version has adorable new graphics. - Pop: 700 points - Burst bubbles by pointing the Wii remote and clicking on them. You'll need to pop only bubbles of the same color if you want to rack up big point-scoring bonuses. A multiplayer mode for up to four players creates fierce competition. - V.I.P. Casino: Blackjack: 700 points - Yeah, it's... blackjack. Don't know what to tell you about this one, as we've never played or even heard about it. We'll update once we play it, maybe even with an actual screenshot. - TV Show King: 1,000 points - A multiplayer quiz-show game with 3,000 questions. It promises to let us "use the Wii Remote controller in original ways," meaning that it's likely you'll have to do more than just point and click to score points. - LostWinds: 1,000 points - This side-scrolling platform game uses the Wiimote to control the wind. Blow your character across obstacles, light fires, etc. We only got hands-on for a few minutes at a media event, but it looked great. VC North America (Monday, May 12) - I don't think there's going to be anything, since we're getting a half-dozen WiiWare games. I'll update this if I'm wrong. Or just tell me off or something.
Wii North America (Tuesday, May 13) - We Ski - Deca Sports - Castle of Shikigami III - Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
Also, there are new DS demos in the Nintendo Channel. I'll list those in the DS thread, which I won't get to post until after I get home from work because of my work's web filter, my RSS reader, and how DSfanboy.com formats their posts.
Well I don't know Infocom was... but you don't have to be too old to remember those games! I'm 18 and remember playing them on my good old Apple IIC when I was 8(?). God knows where I got the patience to play them when I was that young.
