A friend of mine got it and described the MotionPlus controls as "sadly accurate." He's not much of a golfer. Neither am I, so I'll pass.
Having said that, IGN gave the Wii version a 9.0/10 and basically said it was the best golf game there's ever been. IGN sometimes gets accused of giving out higher scores than they should, and I haven't checked other sites, but they were quite enthusiastic.
I liked that game too, but I was a young impressionable teenager. Looking back at that game now, I recognize it for what it was: a super blocky 3D fighter.
