- Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a Darklord (WW, 1,000 points)
Has anybody besides me down loaded this? I down loaded this on the July 22 and have been chipping away at the game ever since. The plotlines/stories for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My life as King (FFCC: MLAK) and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a Darklord (FFCC:MLAAD) are both direct sequels to the Crystal Chronicles game that was put out for the Gamecube. But the game play is different for each one; Crystal Chronicles is a multi-player dungeon crawler, FFCC:MLAK is an town administration sim, and now FFCC:MLAAD is a tower defense game.
In this game you start out with a set amount of negative points which you use to set up floors and stock the floors with monsters. Different floors and different monsters have different abilities in the fight to keep out the pesky goody goodies who try to climb your home and knock out your dark crystal.
I am enjoying this game so far. (I have just reached the forth chapter.) The graphics and music are well done, considering that this is a WiiWare game. Mira’s loligoth look annoys me, but that is just my opinion. I did buy the two current downloadable content offerings, the Darklord Amory and the Vile Ribbon. The Darklord Amory is a very big help; it is a scroll spell pack that you can use once per battle. The Vile Ribbon is just a Karma Points boost and probably not as necessary. It looks like they are releasing DLC items every other Monday until September. I am wondering if I will have long finished the game by then; will I want to buy content for a game I finished a month ago? Also, if I get weird and insist on buying all of the DLC for this game then the price of this game will go from 1000 Wii points to 6700(?). Which is something else to consider.
