I really wish you'd either opened the league to EVERYBODY, or not posted about it here, because the next step is we end up with ANOTHER league being announced here and the next thing you know this board is filled up with fantasy crap.
That said... God DAMN but you're a real dumbass, Brian.

It was a lot of fun, but my wife doesn't want to hear me rooting for opposing players at Padres games this year.

I HATE being a youth who cares more about the real sport than any ficticious glory. Wait, no I don't.
Plus, I pre-ranked the entire Red Sox starting lineup ahead of anyone on any other team in the AL East.

Whitebacon: It is one thing to be a sore loser, it is another to be a coward. I know that last year you said you would be in our league only to chicken-out later and not join up. For you to criticize anyone who had the balls to participate last year is retarded. Now you are scared that I will win it again, so you wont let me play. You should change your name to Yellowbacon. You are a fucking coward and a bullshit commissioner.
Whoever wins this years fantasy title wont have much to brag about. It would be like winning an NBA title during Jordans first retirement. Or winning a baseball title in a league where the Yankees are not allowed to play.
I didn't read Whitebacon's post that way. I read his paragraph and all I got was "hopefully we won't have a problem because hopefully Skorpio17 won't be an ass this year." Not "Skorpio17 can't play." But I'm probably wrong...
And if I am, and you can't play, then you should just start your own league and get all the serious fantasy baseball people to join. Without all those losers who just want to "have fun," your league would have all the cred at this board, wouldn't it?

I read his post the same way as you did. That is why I wasted my time PMing him. Anyway it is impossible for Whitebacon and myself to mutually coexist.
So Id like to announce the opening of a brand new fantasy baseball league. This Expert league on Yahoo will have the following features:
- 5x5 mixed league scoring system. - FREE for everything - A FAIR commissioner - A weekly newsletter - Grand Prize of $100 to $200
There is only one catch. To be eligible to compete in my Expert league, you may not participate in Whitebacons league. Anybody found to be participating in his league as well will forfeit their claim to the cash prize.
PM me if interested.
(I respect what CRZ has said. So I promise not to flood this board with fantasy baseball stuff. I will limit my fantasy posts here to one per month.)

I think there HAS to be a live draft for the league to be good.

I don't care either way. Inevitably I end up with about 2 guys left from my original team by all-star break anyhow :)

In theory I'm all for it, except for the 8:15 am on a saturday bit, but that's not really a BIG problem unless I get drunk on Friday night. In practice I'm prolly gunna get laughed at in a live draft. But I'm still for it if we can do it. | PalpatineW
