The guys mentioned seem to know there stuff on the sport. It couldn't hurt to give it a try considering the horrid 'Stephesque' shape the WWE is in.
Keller always acts like a big know-it-all, like he has the answers too all the WWE's problems. I'd really like to see this guy put up or shut up if they hired him. On a side note, he's seems very nerdy in real life, not that I know him or anything.
Meltzer seems pretty intelligent. It wouldn't hurt to hire him, ANYTHING'S better than Brian Gerwitz.
As for ibob, it would be an amusing scenerio to see how it would play out if he ever worked for the WWE.
I'll answer this by pointing to the era where Ken "Hawk" Harrellson was GM of the Chicago White Sox. His to-do list included firing Tony LaRussa, putting Carlton Fisk in left field, and chasing Jim Leyland away. Talking about something is not the same as doing it.
Besides... being handed the booking duties doesn't mean that you'll be able to make all the decisions about the in-ring product. Everyone knows the final boss is Vince. If he wants to screw Matt Hardy out of a high-profile feud and give it to “Useless” Albert, he damn well will. And has. Over the objections of Paul Heyman, from what I understand.
So what's to say it would be any different if anyone else were handed the book? Vince would still insist upon doing certain things a certain way (like, for instance, keeping Triple H and The Undertaker at main-event level until 2217), and he'd still have ultimate veto power.

Wasn't Meltz on the VKM payroll for a brief time anyway? I figure if it didn't work before, and there's no real money to be made by trying it, why would they do it again?
Also, there is a such of thing as being "too smart" when you have to book. Sometimes you NEED to do things that your average mark will like, and hotshotting the title to Benoit and having him hold it for 20 years is NOT something that would bring ratings. They are simply too "IWC Smart" for their own good!
3 out of 5 Statisticians agree- Statistics are all bull$hit! "Pool-Boy" They won more than last year....

I know... I got nothing either. But at least there'll be 50% more nothing next week! Once again, this week's MVP: UMAGA Victoria really DID need to pull her pants up Will ECW Original Joey Matthews make a triumphant return?
