Suck so much? What ever happened to the charisma that was "Dancin" Stevie Richards?

Or the bWo?

Or Stevie Von Borovich?

I just saw him on Heat, and damn, his ring intro, well, just sucks.

Don't get me wrong, he's a decent wrestler. And when he's allowed to, he can be really funny.

Oh well, just rambling...

Glass ceiling, man. Stevie rules, they're just mishandling him. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that HHH is personally threatened by the talent that is Stevie, and so works to hold him down.

His match with Dreamer kicked ass on the WWE Hardcore scale, so I can't complain.

Stevie doesn't really suck, the guys the WWE has stuck him with do however suck. Stevie could be a great character in the midcard if the WWE turned him lose a little.

He lost most of his heat in the RTC angle, so we can blame Vince's ego for Stevie's lack of character now.

Actually, it's my recollection that Richards was booed more during the RTC angle than he had been at any other point in his WWF career.

When they were winning all the time, that is. The losing streak started to kill their heat, and eventually killed RTC entirely.

I never saw Richards in ECW, and saw him only briefly in WCW, so I can't really comment on his stint in either of those two federations.

Granted, that was one hell of a powerslam. There was no "big run" into it. It just came out of nowhere.

Kudos to Dustin and Stevie for that excellent timing.

Give Stevie Richards a better ring intro and better ring attire!

Anyone remember the "Blair Witch" parody him and the Blue Meanie did? Damn that was funny. Even though it only lasted 2 weeks.

Piss on you Glass Ceiling!!!

Rey Mysterio did a better parody for his Rey Mysterio Project.

Stevie doesn't suck. He is one of those jobbers who gets to show his talents for long stretches of the match, only to lose suddenly at the end.

Goldust also busted that powerslam out against X-pac during that RAW tag match where Nash got hurt.

I had no idea he was capable of such a crisp-looking move.

This is Dusty Rhodes's son we are talking about. He is not Eddy Guerrero or The Rock by comparison of second generation stars, but just a level below, and definitely not David Flair.

David Flair is supposedly pretty good now, for what that's worth.

Also, that powerslam is Goldust's new finisher! (laughs) Seriously...it is.

As for Steven Richards, he's exactly where he should be. The guy has some talent, he makes me laugh with his craziness, but he shouldn't be any higher than he is. His character just isn't strong enough for it...that and he's such an injury risk.

I've like Richards lately too. I mean if ANYONE but Goldust had beat Richards I wouldn't hear any complaints. If Richards beat RVD, "Man, Richards ain't on RVD's level!" Richards beats Jeff, "There went Jeff's push!" Richards beats Booker, "WHY, WHY, WHY!? I mean BOOKER!? He beat BOOKER!? WHY!?" So, frankly, it works like this, WWE has too many stars. Too many people to worry about some guy (who I like remember) who's biggest shebang in the fed was wearing white socks and talking about the WWE being too riske.

Plus, he's on TV. A lot of Bossman/Godfather fans can't say THEIR favorite wrestler is on tv. So, he a jobber, but he's good at what he does!

An open letter to Andrew Gilkison from me: Sir, I am no longer pleased with your product and thus will not read it. I am the consumer and your product is not living up to my expectations. I could open up an Andrew Gilkison message board and cry about it, but that's a waste of my time. In the meantime, I would suggest you work on improving your product. Thank you.

Watching RAW and Smackdown doesn't cost anymore than your posts do. And so, like a good consumer, I'm tuning you out.

I think Stevie is very, very good. He can wrestle. He can talk. He can draw major heat when given the opportunity -- not that he often is. What's not to like? I suspect he may not be higher up the card because he's too thin. You know what Vince likes.

Stevie tends to get injured often which is a real shame because he is good. They should start working him out as an announcer part time and switch him to full time when he decides to hang up the boots.
