Allright, why is it that people, not the minority that is Wienerville mind you, but PEOPLE, don't want old stables to die!? nWo is dead. Period. I don't want to see them back. They haven't been good since their intro to the WWE, and before that they hadn't been good in a REALLY long time. It's not 1996 anymore.

Fast forward to this DX, "will they return" crap. DX is dead. They haven't been good since. Well, I don't remember EVER liking them. Fine, they haven't been good since they had another company to make fun of.

Then we have the people who want to Flock back. Raven's a jobber. I'm over it.

I guess my question is, WHY, WHY, WHY!? Do people want to see this CRAP!? I'm not callign the original versions crap. I'm calling the redone, repackaged WWE versions crap. DX is one thing, because we all saw how much that sucked when it was rehashed. But, WWE NEVER does another company's stables right. So, why do these people want to be let down by WWE versions of their favorite stables?

Maybe they're gluttons for punishment.

An open letter to Andrew Gilkison from me: Sir, I am no longer pleased with your product and thus will not read it. I am the consumer and your product is not living up to my expectations. I could open up an Andrew Gilkison message board and cry about it, but that's a waste of my time. In the meantime, I would suggest you work on improving your product. Thank you.

Watching RAW and Smackdown doesn't cost anymore than your posts do. And so, like a good consumer, I'm tuning you out.

Because: People are comfortable with certain paradigms. Whatever it is that made wrestling RIGHT for you, they think can come back, be it nWo, the Horsemen, or even older wrestlers. I know people who think it would be awesome if the Road Warriors could come back and rule the tags. Those guys have had it. So has the nWo -

Unless there is a real reason and true angle that works. You know, when vince was teasing it, I thought he might work the nWo thing OK. But they had to come in and rule. Never wrestle, just disrupt, beat people up and tag 'em. And I still think a true nWo angle could work. So could a true Horsemen team as the mean, rough and winning heels they were. If Lesnar was in there. He's required. Flair as the Daddy. Arn as a manager. But they have to WIN nearly all the time and be hated as hated can be. If they job, like the nWo jobs, they would die the way the nWo did. Guys like the Horsemen and nWo can't job. They have to RULE.

Stables are stables. Heel stables need a heel manger or director (see: DX - Michaels or nWo: Bischoff or Horsemen: (I can't remember the guy's name because I am bleary from working a week of camp, but I can see him...) ) Heel stables have to win. Eventually, heel stables turn inwards and break up because the individuals want to go it alone and they have an internal fight and break up (Except, mostly, for the Horsemen).

Name 'em what you want.

Hey, I thought nWo v2.0 [Nash, Hall, Hart, Jarrett] was really good as a stable. They won, people hated them and wanted them to lose, therefore they got heat. It's not hard to do.

If people hate you, and you win, you'll be hated more. And they'll love whoever beats you even more. The Rock got over because of D-X. Goldberg got over because of the nWo. Dozens of faces got over because of the Horsemen. It's not that complicated. The problem is that now, with all the alleged [keyword] b.s. politics, nobody's willing to do the job to build up the stable so that they can be beaten along the way. If everyone calmed down and lost to the nWo for the first two-three months, we'd be here talking about the resurgance of the nWo instead of the death of it.

Ah well...

Austin killed the NWO. Thus, he is getting what he deserves right now.

If Austin is smart (and if the Rock is, too), he'll have invested his cash in something. He's been concievably been making $3million per year since 1997, so that's about $15 million he has...JUST FROM WRESTLING. The Rock made almost $10million last year alone, due to movies, shirt sales and other stuff. They better not blow it all.

Freeway, since Austin gets paid so much money doesn't he have to pay quite a bit of it to Uncle Sam?

Rock's wife is a vice-president of Merril Lynch...I don't think they have to worry about cash flow.

DX made Rock!? DX!? Made? Rock? You crazy! I remember the thing that made Rock was him joining the Nation. So, if anything his feuds with Faarooq and Shamrock established him more than his feud with Hunter. By the time he feuded with Triple H, I remember him being the "best damn Intercontinental Champ walkin'" and it was inevitable that Rock would get over. It was the snowball effect. Of course the ladder match DID push both men (especially Rock because he wasn't out with a knee injury at the time) into the company's eye as guys who could really tear up the top tier. But, I saw that happening BEFORE the feud with DX.

I guess one of the most memorable things Rock did in my eyes WAS against DX however. When Rock had that ladder in the ring and they blocked off the DX locker room door with a forklift and Rock hated on Chyna while the Nation (including Owen at the time, which was hilarious)held her down. That was the best heel promo of that guys career, and I hated Chyna. But, I still booed him after that.

I like the Storm, Test, Christian stable they've got going now. Anti-American is not a 100% new idea, but this is still a fresh stable as far as members go, which to me makes them a whole lot better (and more fresh) than a retread of dX, nWo, the Flock, Brood, the 4 Horseman, the Varsity Club, the York Foundation, Jimmy Hart's First Family, Dangerous Alliance, Dungeon of Doom, Legion of Doom, Hot Stuff/Hyatt International (or whatever they called it), or any other old stable you could think of.

Yeah, Test, Storm and Christian are NOTHING like Hart Foundation, Team Canada. Not at all. No resemblance. Nope.

Also, why do I always refer to them as Test, Storm and Christian? Shouldn't Storm's name come first? Or is it I don't want one of the guys I once considered to be in my top ten to be ruined by this dookie ass stable.

This stable is as fresh as a early morning poop.

Yeah, TWO poop references. That's how much I hate them, excelt when they, you know, wrestle.

I think you missed the guy's point. He didn't say that the idea was fresh and new, he said that the combinaton of members was. None of these guys have teamed together for any length of time, have they?

If you ask me, this is Heyman's booking at work. Take a bunch of mid-carders (ex. Jericho/Benoit last year) team them up and use each other to push them into higher spots on the card.

Hell, look what this sort of thing did to Justin Credible in ECW, and the most skill he's ever shown is the ability to convincingly wear a man's jock as a face-mask.

One thing made the Rock...

1 night after the dX ppv. The classic line...

"The Rock thinks you should fire him Vince."

Rock/Austin made the Rock. Rock/Foley made the Rock. Not Trips, not The Nation.
