If Steiner comes to the WWF, I'll stop watching. That guy is a roided-out piece of crap.

Even if he put a mullet wig on, wore a Michigan jacket, tagged with Rick and Missy Hyatte managed them, I still wouldn't watch.

Screw Scott Steiner.

That's why they made the NWO B-team or black and white or whatever so somebody could take the ass-whuppins for them. Don't get me wrong they did alot of crazy shit but I don't think Vince will let them book the shows and stuff. It could be a very brief relationship but it will be cool to see those guys back in the WWF where they started. I hope Steiner shows up with them, that would be really cool.

"Didn't Luger beat Hogan for the title for a bit at Road Wild before then?"

No, that was Road Wild the following year. That year's Hog Wild had Hogan beating the Giant for the title. Of course, right after Luger handed the NWO their first loss, Piper beat Hogan and gave them their second loss that PPV.

No matter how bad things may get, just imagine what would happen if Vince Russo was booking again, and you will feel better.

Whoaa...you sound like you've been scarred dude, have you met Steiner in person and he was a jerk or something? I thought everybody liked BPP.

Nah, I haven't had any personal experience with Steiner, I just think he's freakish.. (pharmaceutical, not genetics). No mic skills, assholish persona, can't put his arms down at his side... I just won't buy a PPV featuring him.

I think its for reasons like that that make Steiner AWESOME! After all, look how much he is getting to you. And you're not the only one- he pisses a lot of people off, which is what a classic heel *should* do. I wouldn't agree with the no mic skills- he could use some help flowing better probably, but his mess-ups actually make it seem more real if you ask me. Either than that the guy is perfect, IMHO.

Okay, you might have a point, but I'd chalk it up to more of the X-pac "go away" heat than someone crafting a great villain persona.

Ric Flair could do it. And look at Kurt Angle - better mic skills, better attitude, better work rate... the guy is the antithesis of Steiner AND he's a great heel. Hell, Honkey Tonk Man and Mr. Perfect were good heels and I don't even put Steiner in their category.

Angle, to me, is a bit...dare I say, juvenile (hell, what pro wrestler isn't a but juvenile). He fits the bubbly, cartoonish image of the WWF to a tee, but being an old WCW fan, I could do without him. Steiner is more a mixture of the best of WCW and WWF--and you have to admit, the guy does have a "freakish" physique. I would take him over Angle anyday. (And bring Midajah with him!)

Steiner has three problems for me:

(1) He can't move the way he used to, in particular he can't straighten his arms or bend his back in a very natural looking way. Of course, his flexibility (see Frankensteiner) used to be a strength. Now he can't even make the recliner look realistic. So his in-ring work is always a disappointment.

(2) He can't be decipherable at the microphone. So if he does happen to say something interesting, it's too garbled to tell.

(3) He's eerily reminiscent (and not in a good way) of Superstar Billy Graham. Every time I look at him now (or used to, back before March) I think "there's a man who'll be suffering serious liver problems in five years."

And I don't want to think that.

Hence, my lack of interest in the new HHH. Not that he's really surprisingly large - 8 months of no leg work but every day in the gym will do that, naturally. But it just makes it even more obvious that there's a terrible price these folks will pay down the road.

I hope it's worth it.

Personally, I enjoyed the NWO and their massive run-in at the end of every Nitro and Thunder. Oh wait, that is the exact opposite of what I meant to say.

I'll only like it if Scott Hall pukes in the ring again.

Right. How could you possibly knock someone who attacks paramedics, wears a lampshade on their head and wastes their talent by abusing steroids??? That's just silly!!

So you won't buy a ppv featuring him because he causes problems behind the scenes? To say you will never buy a ppv with him is silly, because you never now if the WWF will bring him in and get a great story with, say, Triple H going over who experiences less roid rage, and you may wind up eating your words. To automatically turn your nose up at anything the man does because you haven't liked him in the past is immature and shows a lack of an open mind on your part.

Don't feel alone, however. All the people on this board who assume the NWO means the end of the world before we even know what role they will play on TV are the same way. All the people who bash the Undertaker without even paying close attention to him are the same way. All the people who look for "conspiracies" against RVD, Jericho and the like are the same way.

Dude, you can't polish a turd, and Steiner is a friggin' turd. I don't care what angle he's in - revenge on Booker T for that final WCW job, kicking Ron Waterman's ass for goatee infringement, stealing Steph away from HHH ..... hell, even if he reveals himself to be the real Black motherfucking Scorpion... I STILL wouldn't watch the sorry SOB.

Bottom line? He's not entertaining.

As for the NWO, Undertaker, et all... I'm willing to wait and see.

I, on the other hand, will be getting the WWA show on the 24th BECAUSE of Steiner.

It takes all kinds. Hell, I still get shit around here for liking the Big Show, and I'm a co-moderator.

I love it when a plan comes together
