That's what I was asking myself. Why bring them back? Isn't there too much talent in the WWF already? Then I remembered, these are the same 3 men that told Vince to piss off and left for greener pastures. Now they want to come back after they ran the WCW to hell. Question people, how many guys jumped ship to WCW, came back to WWF and made a huge impact; except for the Big Boss Man? I don't think the NWO's run will be as cool as everyone thinks.

The NWO's returning because I think things are stale in WWFville and those in WWFville know it. And I agree...while it'd be interesting for a little while (one month at the absolute maximum), the return of the NWO in any form will never live up to anyone's expectations, mine included.

I thinbk the NWO is coming back because the WWF didn't want the XWF or the WWA signing Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. They wanted to kill the competion while it as still easy. And of course for us, lucky viewers, we get to see 40-50-year-old wrestlers that don't know more than 4 moves combined. I can't wait!

you guys have to admit... especially after watching raw... nWo is popular!... it will get the fans attention for awhile if done right... the ratings have even seemed to be going up.... i personally think this will be good if done right... but i am not willing to condemn most things until i see if it really turns out bad....

hey i admit it.... i loved watching the nWo... they did a lot of stuff that was just new and refreshing.... of course some of the writing was just bad.... but it was still awesome to watch the first time around...

i hope the wwf can give the nWo some of the magic it had before...

I really don't think it'll have all the magic of the original, but still will be entertaining for a few weeks. I just hope that everyone involved don't get too much power.

I want the NWO to be successful, I really do. But the only way I see their run in the WWF working is if the Fed allows the faction's history to be a factor. I realize Vince isn't fond of other people's creations, but judging by the video Monday and some stuff guys have been sayingon TV lately, I think the group's past will be acknowledged. They have the old WCW library, and the rights to just about anything they would need.

The general concensus here is that the group would be entertaining for a few weeks or so, maybe even a month. I hate to burst the bubble of anyone that thinks or hopes that the angle will only be a short term thing, but this thing is in all likelyhood going to play out over an extended period of time.

I just hope that they'll have the sense to not let it get overly stale. The original NWO's problem was that they seemed too infallible. No one ever beat them. Hell, it took like 6 months for ANY of them to lose one match period (Luger/Giant at Starrcade). Granted, I don't think Vince's ego will let that be a problem.

Still, they have to lose a few in their dominance.

No matter how bad things may get, just imagine what would happen if Vince Russo was booking again, and you will feel better.

...and that's really all they need to do. Stay away from the stupid angles that make people groan, and to keep fan interest, win some and lose some... just like everybody else. The nWo isn't special. They're just a fresh heel group that needs to act like a heel group (albeit with some history behind them)

Nah. I agree with you that Nash and Hogan are hardly the best wrestlers on the planet-- and certainly aren't easily confused with being so. But I'm looking forward to seeing Scott Hall, anyway-- he's supposedly been putting on some great matches in Japan as of late. Plus, he's cool, y'know?

Nash and Hogan, I could do without. But I'm also patient and tolerant enough to see where it leads before passing judgment.

Scott Hall is pretty cool, he's probably the only one I look forward to seeing. But Hogan and Nash, c'mon now, they can create do great promos and all but damn. Where is Triple H in all of this? When the clique splitted up, he was the only one to take the fall for what they did. That could be a pretty good angle. I hope he doesn't join, he's better off by himself. He ain't the prankster that he used to be. If Vince doesn't have these jokers squashed after the first few weeks, all that 'Don't cross the boss' jazz will mean nothing.

Why would he wanna job them? That's for now not the idea of the angle!
And isn't this a whole 'don't cross the boss' angle?
If you dont listen to Vinnie Mac he brings in the people you fear most of all..

And somehow I have this idea that they have some contracts with lots of stips.
Just think about it..Hogan probably would have loved/expected to have another Hulkamania run. And now he is being portrayed as a poison. Someone that puts himself over everyone and everybody.

As for the jobbing. the nWo is being brought in as big heels. Heels get theirs in the end. Especially in this new invasion angle I guess..

Yeah that about sums it up. The only thing is the NWO never got their's in the end. They never got that ass-whuppin even when they fought amongst themselves. That's why they made the NWO B-team or black and white or whatever so somebody could take the ass-whuppins for them. Don't get me wrong they did alot of crazy shit but I don't think Vince will let them book the shows and stuff. It could be a very brief relationship but it will be cool to see those guys back in the WWF where they started. I hope Steiner shows up with them, that would be really cool.

Didn't Luger beat Hogan for the title for a bit at Road Wild before then?

You know, conspiracy theories never hold any water around here, but for once, I think it may be a conspiracy.

Wouldn't it be just if Hogan, Hall, and Nash all had to job at every PPV, thus killing their careers? What other options do they have?

So, WWF, if there was say, God forbid, a comet hitting the earth, or a nuclear holocaust, or chemical or biological attack, or a bomb, or the four horsemen of the Apolycolaspe come. All I have to do to survive is watch the WWF?

Theoretically, could this work? Yes. But, as Homer Simpson once eloquently stated, in theory Communism was a good idea. Here are just a few of the flaws in Vince's plan.
