I think that Edge has performed really well against Angle, Eddy etc, but that tapping to Angle has hurt his credability. Also, I don't think that an Edge/Brock survivor series main event would be that good(still, hasn't stopped the WWE before).
I like the Smackdown vs Raw idea.
HHH/RVD/Christian/Jericho vs Brock/Edge/Benoit/Angle?
I thought Edge was pretty big in New York. I always remembered that guy getting bigger pops than he should have whenever he went there. And he is ready, he's the most over face on that roster (He passed Taker during the last month or so). I doubt he'd win, but he deserves the shot. Survivor Series SHOULD be Edge/Brock and Booker/Trips, after all it's a big 5 PPV and those are the 2 most over faces on their respective shows.
Columbus Blue Jackets: 2-3-0-0 and not in last place! Thank you Predators!
Well, I'll just revise my idea slightly. War Games. Team Raw: HHH/Booker T/Kane/RVD/Jericho Vs. Team Smackdown!: Brock/Angle/Benoit/Eddie Guerrero/Edge. The respective cornermen for Raw and SD! would be Ric Flair and Paul Heyman as they're veterans of War Games past. What the heck would they be fighting for? I don't know. I just want to see it!
Edge is the best choice. He is ready. He doesn't need to win, and Brock doesn't need to lose yet so it will work out fine. Undertaker, Rock, and Hogan elevated Brock. Now Brock has to start elevating faces.
Originally posted by The Amazing SalamiEveryone keeps talking about how Edge has proven himself, putting on all these great matches. But HELL, every damn match he's been in has been with or against Rey, Angle or the Guerrerros. Who couldn't put on a good match with them. I don't think the guy can carry a match against a guy like Brock and make it good.
Problem is, you're assuming Brock needs to be carried. As far as I've seen, he can handle himself just fine in the ring. Inexperienced? Sure. So was Angle a couple of years ago.
Originally posted by A FanGod, people you are killing me. I know everyone likes the old school format, but would seriously pay $50 and up to see HHH pin Brock? Ask yourself that question, because that will get booked.
A Fan= Come on guys, you know they look at these boards, see the murder angle thread.
I wouldn't pay $50 to see a card that I was allowed to book myself. In fact, the most I've ever paid to watch wrestling was $12 and that was for JCW.
The mid-card on Smackdown is definitely getting more time than Raw, and I think the IC Belt is already worth watching; Rey and Ziggler have been having a solid feud and they had a great match at the last PPV.
