Not me (yet).

I'm only in year three of my dynasty in NCAA 2003.

Melissa Stark is the sideline reporter in the game. Alas, no pictures. (Maybe there's hidden.)

Madden is going to be one of games compatible with the PS2 modem, or whatever they're calling it.

Go read the Sports Guy's column regarding Madden 2003, it's really good.

I'm going to get it tonight...EBX has a trade in 3, get Madden free deal going.

Edit: Here's the address to the Sports Guy. Someone can make this a link if they want. http://espn.go.com/page2/s/simmons/020814.html

I've read some reviews on it and it's supposed to be all that and a bag of chips with a deli samich. I'd get it, but I won't have acess to a TV for the next while so there's not really a point. Plus when I finally will have acess to a TV, it'll be during the time when the REAL GameCube/GBA games are coming to town (Metriod Prime/Fusion, Contra Advance, Mario Advance 3, Sonic Mega Collection).

This might sound like sour grapes from someone that doesn't play many computer games, but what's the point of buying Madden 2003 if you already have 2002, 2001, etc?

Technology increases = better games.

You don't just watch the same movies you have on tape, n'est-ce pas? By that logic, you wouldn't even have a DVD player, since you'd be happy with VHS.

I don't have Madden 2001 or 2002,I sold them.

You buy the games year after year for updated rosters, better gameplay, more gameplay options and so on.At least thats why I buy them for.

Things change from every year on the game. You could add the new players in yourselves but it is really not the same as already having them in.

Not to mention the fact that Madden 2003 brings the online capabilities. I don't know if I agree with Caple (IIRC) when he called it the most important game ever, but it's up there.

madden 2003 has Create a Play, create a playbook, better graphics, the 46 defence is added, the Skins and Seahawks new uni's for the year and the Texans uni's

the mini camp mode is all that...it's really helped my gameplay skills..

I got it and let me just say it kicks all sorts of ass. The best new feature is playaction doesn't equal an automatic sack as it did in previous Madden's. The linebackers actually hesitate in their coverage and it can be really useful in getting your tight end or backs out of the backfied wide open. Also, overall pass defense, (which was my biggest problem in the other ones) has improved dramatically.

And I'm addicted to mini-camp mode as well...but damn that db swat game on the second to easiest difficulty. IT CHEATS!

I find the 46 to a pretty effective defense actually. I'm in the preseason with the Ravens and got clobbered in my first two games before switching to using mainly the 46 against Philadelphia and it really improved my ability to contain the offense.

I also love the fact that the Ravens on the game started $35+ million under the cap(and not in cap hell) allowing me to pickup Dorsey Levens, Andy Katzenmoyer, Christian Peter, etc.

Madden is so completely awesome. I just wish I wasn't addicted to NASCAR 2002...

NASCAR 2003 is coming out soon,Grimis.

Its always funny that they release the NASCAR game after the season is over.I guess they know diehard fans will have to get a fix somehow.

Know what's funny about that? I can't stand watching NASCAR for more than a few minutes at a time. The gameplay itself is great. The only reason I even got it was the fact that it was on sale at Best Buy and I figured what the hell. But the graphics are stellar, the gameplay awesome and it was worth the money. But overall not nearly what Madden is.

It's a great game,I live in the south and I love NASCAR,to each his own I guess.

Thats what makes a sports game great, when people who don't even like the sport love the game.

The new Madden game is absolutely the best football game out there. I've got both Madden and NCAA 2003 for my PS2, adn I can't get enough of either.

Rest in Peace, Chick.

That is could be a rough season. Big question marks I see are Oakland and Tampa. Having Vick come to Arrowhead is much better than playing him on the turf of the Georgia Dome.
