| #1 Posted on 26.8.02 1549.16 | This isn't about who his next feud will be. He should (and will destroy) whoever it is. That's his job. My question is, who will be the guy to finally get the pin on the Next Big Thing?
Kane? No, out too long and not that good in the first place. Ditto Taker. Edge and Booker are on the outside, but I don't think they could build them up credibly enough in the short term.
HHH and Angle are the most likely suspects, in my book. Where did the rumor of the Angle/Brock at WM start anyways? They *might* be able to pull that off, but I am not sure how it will play out. And while I don't want to see HHH be the one to do it, I can see them booking it as such.

| #6 Posted on 26.8.02 1824.37 | I say Angle gets the strap. Then he can drop it to one of the up-and-coming babyfaces: Booker, Edge, or RVD. This way Brock loses no heat by jobbing to a guy who's not quite main event, and the new top babyface gets more over by beating an established Main Eventer for the belt. Also, if Brock is still a heel at that point (he can be a tweener against Angle) he can then chase the title again.

| #8 Posted on 26.8.02 2016.14 | I have a feeling that WWE would REALLY like Edge to be the one to be the one to beat Brock for the title. I can't argue with that, because he's pretty much beaten everyone he could beat with the exception of Triple H (which will never happen for more reasons than one).
I think the time to build an Edge title chase is NOW, culminating with him stopping the Brock juggernaut at Survivor Series. Feud Edge with Benoit in the meantime, because you've already burned out his feud with Angle and have Brock crush Undertaker and/or Kane. Call it a long shot, but I see Edge/Brock headlining Survivor Series.

Edge just doesn't do it for me.
I don't know if it's his physique or what, but I just can't buy into him being the world heavyweight champ.
He just looks too much like a toothpick to me.
I can't think of any lanky world champs.
IC champ, sure. But I don't think he's got what it takes to be a number one guy.
I pray it will never happen, but you KNOW Brock vs. Goldberg at WM would do gargantuan numbers. At least for one night anyhow.

| #12 Posted on 27.8.02 0239.05 | I can see a couple of options:
RVD - Probably the most obvious choice, in a weird way. I definitely think Brock should lose the title to someone who's NEVER held it, after making mincemeat of the old guard main event. It takes a new blood to beat a new blood...um, dog.
Angle - He's been champ before, and I think it'd be a killer match, but it'd mean just as much without the title, so why waste the first loss?
Benoit - Only if Brock turns face before he jobs, but I don't see why he's any worse a choice than angle. Plus, if he made Brock tap, the Crossface would officially become the submission hold of ultimate death again.
Edge - Easily as good a choice as RVD, although he lacks the history with Lesnar. I just don't think he can win with the spear, though, it'd look silly with his build hitting Lesnar. However, one guy who's spear would look realistic would be my choice.

I know I will be lambasted for this, and lose most of my street cred, but I can't see RVD being the top guy. Again, I'm not sure what's keeping him out of the main event, but I can't see him there. (Maybe the abiltiy to cut a promo?) (Damn, there goes the rest of my street cred.)
Edge, yeah, he's one major feud away, but I don't think it should be this one. We can't have an entirely new main event set overnight, got to work them in slowly. Jaguar's idea above works perfectly for me.

By the way, Storm's gimmick includes 1.) telling the audience to shut up, and 2.) occasionally making everyone stand for the Canadian national anthem. You know they don't know what to do with a wrestler when he's making fans stand for a national anthem. It's like waving a white flag and saying, "This guy has no personality -- we give up."

I wish. I do think it will be RVD though. RVD has the moveset and I have seen him cut great promos in ECW. I just have this bad feeling it will HHH or Angle. I like Kurt, wait to the same Univerisity, but I don't think a face Brock is a good thing right now. IT has to be a face that bets him. I think RVD has the history and they do work great together to get it done.
