We had one dark match before ECW went live tonight. SD guy vs. "The Unknown Wrestler" -- from Unknown, weight unknown, etc. He came out in a mask, pulled that off & had another mask underneath. Whoever he was, he was really good, clearly very experienced, they had a very good match, & he got a clean win!
I really don't know who it was. What we know: He came out in a black cape, & underneath had trunks with "gladiator-style" red & black panels -- both of those had a logo with the initials "RR". Maybe 5'10-ish (compared to the SD guy). Bodybuilder style physique, & moderately ripped. Couple of miscellaneous tattoos, but not describe-able. Hair was pretty much buzzed (IIRC) -- nothing notable.
Who was this guy???

To those who say people wouldn't look; they wouldn't be interested; they're too complacent, indifferent and insulated, I can only reply: There is, in one reporter's opinion, considerable evidence against that contention. But even if they are right, what have they got to lose? Because if they are right, and this instrument is good for nothing but to entertain, amuse and insulate, then the tube is flickering now and we will soon see that the whole struggle is lost. This instrument can teach, it can illuminate; yes, and it can even inspire. But it can do so only to the extent that humans are determined to use it to those ends. Otherwise it is merely wires, and lights, in a box.-Edward R. Murrow

Thank you! That's the guy!
Johnny Stamboli?!? Really??? He looked really good in that match! He clearly was wasted in that FBI gimmick.
