Does anyone know if they run shows there still? I have yet to see anything about indy shows in San Diego - the only one I ever saw mentioned was the one in that show on TV.

Were you still with UPW when the TLC special was produced... and if so, did you work with them, and is there anything you could let us in on? Does there seem to be someone high up in the network with a big interest in wrestling?
I was working for UPW when the second show was being taped last year (and am actually on the special setting up a lighting rig. I dunno what TLC's reasoning in doing a second show was, but wouldn't be surprised if Rick Bassman had some connections there.

Nope. UPW only runs nowadays at the Galaxy theater in Santa Ana once a month or every six weeks, with occasional travels in the L.A. area. WCWA promotes in San Diego, however. I recommend you Click Here for more information about SoCal indy companies.
First of all, Norman rocks all! He is actually a really good wrestler who just never got a break in my opinion. Same for Alex Porteau (sp?) Niether of them got the breaks I thought they deserved.
