With all due respect, Candice and Torrie have made the company more money than MANY other people on the show. Like it or not, the divas move merch and seem to have to do a lot of functions. MNM not being on the show is unfortunate, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that the divas don't deserve a WM payoff just as much as anyone in the company.
It's just a guess, but I'm betting they asked Stacy Keibler to do a tag with Torrie against Candice and Victoria but she said no. A tag with superstar Stacy would've been justification for two women's matches, but Torrie vs. Candice ... at least there's no Miller Lite Catfight Girls.
The night before Mania, Lance Storm is going to compete in a match that will probably put everything on the card to shame or a joke in comparison.
Typically this is where I nitpick you but while I think they'll all be good, I really don't have the faith in the Smackdown match, Foley/Edge, or Money in the Bank to say they'll match the likely quality of a Danielson/Storm match. Here's hoping, but ehhhh. One thing's coming to an end this year and that's Shawn Michaels' streak of ****+ show-stealing WM matches.
I must admit that I am absolutely disgusted that MNM aren't on the card for Mania, they have carried a huge weight on the Smackdown card over the past few months, many feuds would never have gotten over if it wasn't for them. I think the WWE should have gone ahead and had a Mexicools vs. MNM at mania, the overall crowd reaction to that match (with or without prior heat) would have been great, I would love to see both of those teams go at it over the course of the next few months.

Thats a real pity though! My problem isn't with the time given to HHH or Taker, my problem is with the time they are giving to their opponents. Neither of whom should be in the position that they are in IMO. And what is Taker's fascination with wrestling big guys at wrestlmania all about anyway? Giant Gonzales, Kane, Sid, Albert, Nash and so on..
If you want to know what more people in Ireland think of wrestling at the moment head over to the website in my profile. You never know you might find it interesting. You can advertise your website there in your own posts.
I would have to say X7, even though it ended on a slight downer. But that was maybe the greatest PPV ever. A close second is the underrated XIV, which I think was the best show from top to bottom, but without a true classic. XX was too long.
