| #7 Posted on 6.5.03 1929.26 | I'd wager they're keeping him off TV until enough time has passed that they can conveniently "forget" he has Tourettes. At least, I hope so. Goldie made the most of that gimmick, but he was still much more entertaining beforehand.

| #8 Posted on 7.5.03 0102.55 | Instant Rating: 3.91 | They really needed to drop that angle, especially since there's to be no payoff with Orton and Batista on the injured list. It didn't make him any funnier than he was before. In fact, it's a testament to his skills that that angle was ever funny at all. I don't think anyone else could have wrung a drop of humor from that.
It sucks that he's not on tv, but I can wait a while if it means we don't have to listen to the "Tourette's" anymore. Goldust is solid in the ring, great on the mic, over, and he has one of my favorite intros ever. He should be a midcard staple for a long time to come.

Though according to Jim Ross, they can often wrestle at the same time. Sigh.

I was highly sceptical about the return of Goldust, but he's certainly made the most of his opportunities. His work alongside Booker T (and The Rock) was great, and he often shows a little Regal-esque brutality in the ring, which I always admire. He created himself a little niche, and still could've been Booker's occasional buddy on air if it wasn't for being electrocuted by two wrestlers who soon vanished which gave his new, questionable gimmick no direction whatsoever.
It's a bit indicative of a writing team that place no importance on continuity, which surely is something "Hollywood" writers would have an eye on. This is how people get "lost" and eventually get told there's nothing creative have for them at the moment.
Goldust is a worthwhile addition to RAW, and I hope he still gets a little spotlight. The IC bracket suits guys like him well.

Too funny, but very true............
To add my 2 cents on Goldust, I enjoyed the angle even though as stated it can't have a payoff without Orton or Batista, not that anything in the WWE actually has a payoff anymore. I thought he was funny as hell.

| #14 Posted on 7.5.03 1510.35 | Part of the problem was that he would have stop mid-match to "twitch" or whatever, so for consistancy (ha!), he couldn`t be like that in backstage promos but not in the ring. I never liked the gimmick and it killed the great roll he`d been on...solid matches, entertaining promos. I know it was supposed to help build the Booker/HHH feud, and like everyone else said, the Batista/Orton injuries messed that up.
