| #7 Posted on 29.11.05 1221.55 | Instant Rating: 5.32 | Here are a couple of press release blurbs from NWA Cyberspace that should entertain you:
Wednesday, 03 November 2004
The Rack is Back! Former world champion and pro wrestling legend Lex Luger made his return to action at the CSWF's annual Halloween Horror event in Wayne, NJ on October 30th.
Wednesday, 03 November 2004
For years, the veterans of the wrestling industry have been criticized for not wanting to step aside and allow the young stars of tomorrow shine in the spotlight. At Halloween Horror, the bitterness came to an end as Lex Luger officially passed the torch of the next generation of superstars to Youngbludz leader Matt Striker.
Monday, 27 December 2004
Due to a recent back injury in preparation for his match, LEX LUGER will be unable to compete at the January 8th CSWF "Fatal Attraction" event. After speaking with his doctors, they have advised the he should stay away from active ring action for approximately 14-16 weeks as any major ring activity could continue to aggravate the injury. As of press time, the CSWF is hoping to have Luger return by April 30th's "Retribution" event.
The last press release is dated March 2005 and Luger isn't mentioned at all. I don't know the legitimacy of this injury, but apparently we still don't know "Where are he now?"

Crap. I thought that video was recent. I should have checked my sources. Oh well, there goes my journalist integrity.
Still, the video was pretty funny!

I read he'd hooked up with Vince Russo's Ring of Glory (ringofglory.com) project and would be appearing at their 16 December show - THEIR press releases made the rounds about a week ago, but I guess nobody ever brought it over here (or, even *I* don't read all the threads in the Wrestling forum anymore)

He's the commissioner of a promotion that just started up in the last year and already has PPV and TV deals through Canada, US, and the UK. He's actually really quiet, polite, and super nice guy when you talk to him.

A graphic of Bagwell, Scott Steiner, and Lex Luger with the words HARSH REALITY super-imposed over them?
Man. The jokes write themselves on that one.
