I think if WWE brought some of these good midcarders back they would be very succesful. Where are these guys.

X-pac - Did some TNA, broke up and got back together with Chyna
Vicsera - Did a couple TNA's I think does indys
Steve Blackman - Talked about returning to wrestling does some kung fu stuff now I think
Ken Shammrock - Same with Blackman, talked about returning to wrestling, I think returned to UFC
The Headbangers - I think they are on their own doing indys
D'lo Brown - works for TNA
Terri Reynolds - Backstage interviewer for WWE RAW
Debra - Broke up with Austin, hasn't been around for a while (BTW: Just my idea, I tink she should join TNA to manage Jeff Jarrett, she was a good heel manager with him in WCW)
Mideon - Did an interview saying he would like to do TNA or WWE, hasn't really been given an offer for either. Does some indys
Bull Buchanan - Does some indys, I think did some Japan
GodFather - Does some indys

I hope so. I loved Blackman and his many facial expressions. Almost as versatile as Zoolander.

Blackman retired from wrestling due to neck issues and not wanting to get the Austin surgery. Either he's rehabbed it back in shape or he got the Angle surgery (he had been considering it.)

Gangrel- Works indies as Vampire Warrior
X-pac- Inactive. He and Chyna have reunited
Steve Blackman- Has just been cleared to return to wrestling if he wants to. Blackman couldn't do the Austin treatment because his stomach couldn't handle the medication due to a virus he got about 15 years ago.
Ken Shammrock- Fighting Kimo at UFC later this year. Wrestled for UPW a month ago.
The Headbangers- Glen Ruth (Thrasher) is retired. Mosh wrestles occasional indies as Chaz
D'lo Brown- Main event heel for All Japan Pro Wrestling
Terri Runnels- Still part of the WWE roster, but inactive.
Mideon- Lost 60 lbs., shaved his head, wrestles indies in Florida
Bull Buchanan- Wrestles on occasion in All Japan, essentially replacing the late Jerry Tuite (The Wall/A-Wol/Malice)
GodFather- Owns a bar in Nevada

Well, you could say that getting bumped down from #2 main event level IC champion to forgotten Nation flunky to Blue Blazer was a gradual punishment. It certainly wasn't a promotion.

Well, he was punished short-term (or for two years or so I guess) but the night of his death he was apparently scheduled to go back to IC Champ.

I don't think people are prejudiced towards D'Lo. They just tend to give Owen leniency because he died a horrible, horrible death.

| #20 Posted on 31.3.04 0219.39 | I thought the Headbangers were relatively young? Why would one have retired and the other just be wrestling the Indies? From what I remember (and this was a period when I had lost a lot of interest in wrestling) the act was pretty over until the Bangers were jobbed out left, right and centre to the Godwinn's and an over-the-hill LOD. Why were they let go by the WWF in the first place?
