Okay, this is the angle that is sooo obvious, I'm just waiting for it to happen.

Heyman annoys Lesnar too much. Lesnar attacks Heyman, to a huge face pop. Heyman begins managing someone else (a heel) and sparks a feud with Lesnar.

Now Lesnar is probably going to get the Unified Title, I'm pretty sure it'll happen soon.

The question is, if this does take place, who will Heyman manage? Think it may be Trips?

I can see Heyman aligning himself with Rhyno when he's back from injury. Heyman has always been a big fan of Rhyno, as evidenced by his title win and Heyman's commentary during his matches, so I can see him using his stroke to work in someway with him.

I say in October. Heyman disappears for a month or so, then when he comes back, he has Rhyno with him.

Sorry, but I'm supposed to accept Rhyno as a credible threat to Brock? Get serious.

I say Heyman manages Batista. Not that he's any more credible, but Paul E.'s mind games might be amusing.

No matter what happens, Heyman will DEFINITELY manage Rhyno on his return - after all, what's Rhyno without "GORE! GORE! GORE!"

Batista would be good. Brock (as a face) Vs Batista (heel) with Paul Heyman as a manager... could work...

I fear it'll be Triple H though, especially given that, assuming Brock wins the title at Summerslam, perfect opportunity for Brock to get the mega face turn and attack Heyman. Trips says that Brock owes him now (Brock Vs Trips at the next PPV) and Trips wants a manager. After all, heel Trips Vs heel Brock - who cares?

Funny, because I think Rhyno would be the best alternative of *ALL*!

Why not? Re-debut him with a Gore into Brock, have Brock sell it like a Steph slap (it might verge of overselling then, though) and give him a Superpush. If they get him back to Ripped Rhyno of mid-2001 and not Fat Rhino of ECW, they could easily turn him into a credible threat.

November or maybe December would be a good time for a turn. But it all depends on what they want to do with his character after Summerslam. Does he become a monster heel destroying everyone in sight? When Lesnar turns on Heyman, who will be the face? If you build towards an Angle-Lesnar match at Summerslam it would make sense to have Lesnar turn face. Or does HHH decide he wants the belt instead of Brock?

But Brock needs at least a 3 month run to establish himself as a credible champion.

Great post AJ.

For a feud with Lesnar to be credible, the fued has to be with someone people could believe would be able to carry the WWE Undistupte Crown.

That being said, would WWE ever put the strap on a greasy guy named Rhyno, for cyring out loud?

First of all Lesnar has to show that he is able to carry the WWE as the top draw, the undisputed champion.

Why is Heyman so big on Rhyno? I don't have anything against the guy, but he looks like a Metallica fan who spears people.

I like Rhyno a lot. WWE undisputed? Sure, in time.

I hope Heyman and Brock stay together for a long time. Long enough for Brock to become very seasoned - say, a year or so. Then Brock has a REASON to turn on Heyman.

I can't really see Brock winning on Sunday, and I'll bet that he turns on Paul after the match and STAYS heel. There is no reason you can't have both. And such a turn would help his character in the long run- he would have finally snapped, become uncontrollable (even by Heyman) and he will slaughter everyone who walks in front of him.... If he wins the belt, his character development is dead in the water and people will be roaring on the net for months about the worst title reign since Chris Jericho....

Have Heyman show up touting a mystery entry at the Rumble. Fire up the war drums and bring out Goldberg.

How is his character development dead if he wins the belt?

Having him turn on Heyman rt away wouldn't make sense... let it lead up to it. Have the annoyance come on... the little rebellios (sp?) things. Or have him lose and go nuts. That could work i suppose.

Brock probably will win on Sun. If he does I doubt that Brock will turn on Heyman anytime soon.
First Brock doesn't suck on the mic but he isn't anything special either. Heyman is very good on the mic. That way Heyman can do the talking and then when Brock says something you know he is serious.
Second why turn Brock face already? And if he does why use Heyman to do it? Paul E. is fairly unlikeable so beating him up won't make Brock automatically a face.
Third if Brock does turn on Heyman then what? Paul could get another wrestler to feud with him but who? Sorry to all the ECW fans but the WWE won't push two new guys on the main event at the same time. So Rhyno is out. And Bautista come on be real. He sucks in the ring, is green as hell, hurts people, and can't talk. A upper midcarder is a possibility but why would Booker, Edge, Benoit, or Guerrero want Paul E. to manage them?
Fouth and most likely why would HHH, Angle, Hogan, or UT want to be managed by Heyman? What do they gain besides a reason to feud? Why bother when Lesnar has the title? Now if Brock doesn't win the title then all the above things are no longer true. But still I can't see who Paul E. is likely to manage that wouldn't be a step down for Lesnar's current push.
