| #1 Posted on 1.3.03 2025.23 | Ok,Brian Kendrick has showed up on good amount of Smackdown! episodes in small rolls...and apparently from his 5 minute match with Angle they have interest in him
What is the general wienerboard consensus with this? Is he going join resident Devil's Advocate O'Haire or do you think he'll get a contract another way?
And isn't his finisher the Shinobi?

| #3 Posted on 1.3.03 2037.34 | Spanky's ROH finisher was a running top rope 360 DDT entitled Sliced Bread #2, he also has a secondary finisher named the left turn at Albaquerque, which I can not explain as I have never seen him perform it and I only mentioned it because its called the left turn at Albaquerque. (Fun Fact: to set up the Slice Bread #2 Spanky screams "Hot Soup, comin' through.")
He should be the cruiserweight #1 heel as he is the cockiest little shit that has ever graced the squared circle. However the powers that be will probably portray him as a out of luck face who can never get it done, not unlike Spike Dudley.

I missed the smackdown match he had(I'm watching the rerun of it)
Does he run up the turnbuckle, holding the opponents head in a face lock and its similar to a flipping dudley dog type move?

When I saw that move, I marked out and screamed "SHIRANUI!!!" but I got a huge letdown when Angle countered it.

| #8 Posted on 2.3.03 0122.37 | This is how I'd use him(and I know WWE people read this board... :))
Have him lose, the next few weeks. Job him to the bigger, higher-up guys, Big Show, Cena, etc. Let him put up a good fight, but not win. He'll win fans, but not locker room respect.
Then, when Matt Hardy has to pick someone to defend the Cruiserweight Title against, after not defending it since winning it, he chooses "SmackDown!'s biggest loser, Brian Kendrick."
Well, via Shannon's fuckup, Kendrick gets the upset and wins the title. The place will come UNGLUED.

| #9 Posted on 2.3.03 1743.48 | He should get a contract, no doubt. The ladies will appreciate him, for sure. Not only that, he's really fast, and a feud with Matt Hardy, only to become an MFer would be the BOMB!

| #10 Posted on 2.3.03 1751.18 | He needs the name Spanky.... it's a great name. What would be pretty funny is if Torrie Wilson gives out free copies of her playboy issue to some wrestlers, and Kidman walks in the bathroom and hears a noise, looks in a stall and sees Spanky, starts dying laughing until he sees what Spanky is looking at, namely Torrie's issue. Then we get a cruiserweight fued and the always present jealous boyfriend issue.

| #11 Posted on 2.3.03 2210.36 | AJ Styles has quickly solidified his spot as a TNA main eventer, and this is only the beginning of what should be a great career for Styles. Styles has been a franchise player for TNA, and is a great example of what a ton of talent, ability, and a great attitude can get ya these days. Styles gets asked a lot about not taking the offer from WWE he was offered about a year ago. Did he make the right decision? Without a doubt. On the flipside maybe he could have been used as one of those hilarious bit players from the Taker/Big Show feud, which has to be the best way to use great workers like Spanky and Kanyon. Don't get me started.
I wish I could take credit for writing the above, but it actually comes from Jeremy Borash in his From the Inside (nwatna.com) column. My guess is we'll soon be hearing about how Spanky "needs to learn the WWE style of wrestling" before he can be featured.
Incidentally, if I may stray off-topic, Borash's column this week is also worth checking out for his comments on Jimmy Yang. Quite interesting, IMHO.

BURN! Score one for Mr. Borash. I could totally see WWE making Styles into a complete tool. I could see Spanky as a main eventer in TNA, but in WWE, he's just a bellboy, a streaker, and a jobber.
