smark/net attack Advisory System Status is: Elevated (Holds; July 5, 2005) It's good to see that the WWE isn't backing away from Batista or Cena. There's still some questions lingering over a few of the draft moves they either made or didn't make (Jericho being a prime example), but the stage is set for a solid run to Summerslam that may send the indicator down. The longer Triple H stays away is also a plus...
Mike Jones - Back then. For most incoming calls I have a couple others for specific people. makes it so much easier when i don't even have to look at my phone to ignore you. I use the ESPN crawl ding for my Alerts.
Let me tell you something, the day JBL rubs soap on my ass will be JBL's last day.
Pagers were always a really annoying invention. Here, let me annoy you so you have to go find a phone and get back to me! At least with a cell phone you can answer or they can leave voicemail.
I really like my cell. I don't even have a land line anymore.
BEHOLD MY POWER February 2nd, 2001 - August 9th, 2005 The End of an Era
Polyphonic take on Bjork's "Big Time Sensuality". It'd be nice if I could figure out how to get it to use MIDI's (the phone's a Nokia 3650) so I don't have to buy 'em. Same deal with the wallpapers, too. (Oh, and when searching for, say, "Nokia 3650 wallpaper format", Google only turns up sites to download ringtones y wallpapers, so it's not much help.)
You wanted the best, you got... Out of Context Quote of the Week.
"...but that doesn't mean he can't relate an amusing anecdote about the Haiti Kid and one of the Frenchman's testicles." (Hogan's My Dad)
I'm probably the most annoying cell phone owner on the planet. I have a bunch of assigned tones.
-When the wife calls from home or her cell: "This Fire" br Franz Ferdinand (polyphonic) -When the wife calls from work: "Willy Wonka" from the Burton version. (polyphonic) She works at Warner Bros. -When any other family calls: "The Best Around" by Joe Esposito (polyphonic) -When friends call: The Original Star Trek theme (polyphonic) -When my most Trekkie friend calls: A voice tone of William Shatner saying, "This is William Shatner and I'm begging you, pick up the phone. PICK up the PHONE...FOOL!" -For all other unassigned calls: Super Mario Brothers theme (polyphonic)
Also on my phone but currently going unused:
Polyphonic -The Imperial March from Empire Strikes Back -"Charmless Man" by Blur -"Kernkraft 400" by Zombie Nation
Real Music/Sounds -"Word Life" by John Cena -"Chocolate" by Snow Patrol -"Somebody Told Me" by The Killers -The Star Wars Main Title Theme -A Star Trek TOS communicator sound effect
Right now I've got one of those weird outdated ones that sound like a ringing phone, but that's only until I take the initiative to hunt down "The Final Countdown".
"That's my problem - I'm too frank. That's why my mother shoved me down the stairs. But then she is fat."
I just stumbled upon "The Final Countdown" while looking for a decent version of "Across the Field". TFC has unseated what I've used for the last year and a half-"Big Poppa".
"It's the four pillars of the male heterosexual psyche. We like naked women, stockings, lesbians, and Sean Connery best as James Bond because that is what being a [man] is." -Jack Davenport, Coupling
-General: TMBG, "Istanbul" -Girlfriend: The Allman Brothers, "Jessica" -Miami friends/relatives: The theme to Miami Vice -For either one of my parents: David Bowie, "Space Oddity"
"He's too much of gentleman to assume that the lady he is with would have a disease and he's man enough to raise any offspring that should arise. HE IS AL WILSON."[-DEAN~, 7/22/05]
Until recently my (very old) phone couldn't play anything more than a few beeps, but now I've got my Motorola V3, I've been able to upload a few MP3's. Now the theme to The Amazing Race is my ringtone, while the tone the CTU phones on 24 use is my text message alert.
