Quite simply, what theme song would get stuck in your head for hours after you watched the show, and that you can still remember to this day? What cartoon did you rush home from school to see because you thought the intro was the coolest thing you'd ever seen? I'm interested because I know there are different generations of posters on this board, so I thought it'd nice to see people's responses.

I'm a child of the 80's, so most of mine would be from that era, such as the following:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5VW7MuIZS0

Transformers (Season 2). It's the intro featuring a lot of the season two characters (Dinobots, Omega Supreme, etc.).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vSD8DliZ1w

MASK: Sure the show wasn't spectacular, but that intro is all kinds of awesome. Even with the cheesy theme song.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DN034sBeF4c
G.I. Joe The Movie: Best animation for the Joes ever, and nearly every major character is shown.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSO_6YxCirQ

Inhumanoids: I don't remember the series that well, but the intro is memorable, mostly because every time I see it, I think, "No way they'd get away with this cartoon in this day and age."

Without question, Silverhawks. I lived and breathed that show twenty years ago.

Gotta go with all the Incredible Hulk and Marvel Men openings. Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, "when Captain America throws his mighty shield..." and so on. Coolness.

And I must throw in a plug for the Animaniacs theme, even if it's from my adulthood.

The only cartoon I really obsessed over as a kid was He-Man. Though the Hercules theme was wonderful, of course.

Starblazers and the original Spiderman. I still listen to them to this day. They are awesome.

Actually, I am more of a Jetsons and Bullwinkle man. But "through the courtesy of Fred's two feet" is one of the better lines in a cartoon theme.

I was only allowed to watch cartoons at my Gramp's house, so I was kind of deprived.

I also liked the Clutch Cargo theme - although there was no singing - just music, kind of a drum thing.

well, apparently, this doesn't work - I don't have the real player thing.

Scooby Doo (youtube.com)

Fat Albert (youtube.com)
(I was always fascinated by the made-from-junk instruments the Cosby Kids are playing.)

Wait Till Your Father Gets Home (youtube.com)
(Apparently this originally showed in prime time. I saw it years later in re-runs. Wow, I had until now totally forgotten about the date rape gag in the opening credits.)

It's not a cartoon but I totally should have mentioned Salute Your Shorts. I still find myself randomly and involuntarily humming that one every once in a while.

First one that popped into my head, followed closely by Magilla Gorilla.

My most memorable was Mighty Mouse (the New Adventures) (wi.net)

Flinstones is good but for me "Rocky and Bullwinkle", "Top Cat", and Danger Mouse.

0 Farenheit to 70, assuming there's no wind for the colder temps. I can not stand heat of any kind. It's suffocating, it's draining, it's HOT. Plus I'm one of those who sweats way too much, way too easily, and that disgusts me.
