I'll tell you why because you're ugly, fat, nasty, and being drunk makes the whole package a billion times worse.

There was this guy back in Tampa who we loved who would go up about four times a night and do 70's/80's hair band, dirt rock songs. He was fantastic. His version of RUN TO THE HILLS was a magnificent sight to behold. He hit every note to perfection.

EG: Shania Twain - Feel like a woman (?) should never be sung by anyone ever again. This includes Shania Twain. I can't think of other specific songs, but ones where the person knows a few lines of the chorus, but find they know next to nothing about the harmony/timing/words of the verses REALLY SUCK.

And I can't stand when people show up and sing the same song every week. You would think they would get the hint when they see everyone groan and roll their eyes when they come up to the microphone.
Amen. I try to sing a different one every week and if I do repeat it's because people have asked me repeatedly. Apparently I sing a mean "Cabaret".
My old karaoke place loved my renditions of Bust A Move, We Didn't Start The Fire and Ice Ice Baby. I did those once a month.
What I hate...? The karaoke host liked to sing as well. That's not a bad thing...but he'd sing three songs in a row at times.
SOmething else: the uneasy silence between songs. The abovementioned host didn't have a backup music player or something...when a song was over...it was silence. Well, technically not silence, but just the banter of the crowd and whatnot...but no music whatsoever.
Finally: karaoke songbooks that are incomplete or in bad condition.
Oh wait, we're talking SONGS we don't like, right? Ummm...none come to mind, but I don't like hearing the same song twice a night.

We need to have a "Bust A Move"-off between you and Bullitt, who does that tune regularly at karaoke, and even has some original lyrics that he's added. A new venue for the Battle of Alberta! | Oliver

Hey, I'm game; but I'd need time to make my own lyrics. I'll even trek to Calgary or wherever Bullitt lives :)

If this doesn't end up on YouTube I'll be sorely disappointed.
"I'll Make Love to You" and "Unchained Melody" were the worst songs I had to hear everytime. And Richard Marx.
Luckily I destroyed everyone's ability to take "Unchained Melody" seriously by singing it in Gizmo's voice.
Can't kill the others though.
