I couldn;t hate a TV person more than I hate Kate from "Jon & Kate + 8". My wife is addicted to that show and it is one of the few shows she watches that I will actually leave the room for because Kate fromt hat show makes me sick. I saw one part where she just sat on a chair while the "nannies" played with her kids. She did NOTHING. And I am supposed to feel for this lady? And she berates the husband or slyly insults him whenever she can. More than anyone on TV, she thinks she is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I work part time on The Today Show and the whole brood and the "nannies" were on and my wife BEGGED me to get their autographs or a picture. I rarely say no to my wife but I couldn't do it because I was afraid I would start berating this lady and lose my job. My wife, nonetheless, was pissed.

Avatar is the greatest show on TV now and one of the few shows I would proudly tell anyone I watch and recommend to everyone. This past week of new episodes leading up to the 2 hour movie on Saturday have been stellar and are doing a phenonmenal job of tying up all the loose ends. I actually "shush" my kids during this show.

Outside of kids shows, I guess music wise I love "Toxic" by Brittany Spears, but to be fair, I had no idea for like three months it was her singing the song and by the time I found out, it was too late. Still high up on my iPod playlist.

Movie wise I don't have a guilty pleasure because I will watch just about anything and anyone who knows me knows that.

"Marriage is like that show ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’, but it’s not funny. All the problems are the same, but you know instead of all the funny, pithy dialogue, everybody is really pissed off and tense. Marriage is like a tense, unfunny version of 'Everybody Loves Raymond', only it doesn't last 22 minutes. It lasts forever."

Thats funny. My neighbor hates her like that too. She always comes of as just dumb to me, but not really hate-worthy. No, not like Amy from "Little People, Big World".

Now THAT lady is a bitch. Her husband Matt cant lift a finger or make a sound without her jumping in to tell him why he's wrong, or how his idea wont work, or what she doesnt like about his plans, or how she doesnt want to go/do/see/hear anything he wants to do. She's the epitome of a "Hater".

She is a close second in my book to Kate. But I really can;t watch either show because of both of them.

She's a typical Central Pennsylvanian, in other words.

I am a sucker for any type of countdown show on TV.
Especially the VH1 shows. Even ones I've seen before. Top 100 songs of the 80s, top movie soundtrack songs, top childhood actors, Top Ten numbers between 1 and 10, etc etc etc.

It is such a formula, yet so addicting.
Just put some wise guy comic on to say "Rubik's Cube. I never got it" or "A Flock of Seagulls? I mean look at that hair. What were they thinking?"

I'm now hooked on Kim Possible. I originally thought it was a stupid cartoon show, but I'm really impressed by the writing and humour.

I never cared about Hannah Montana, but The Suite Life was an awesome show. I'm not sure I want to give their new show (the kids are on a boat) a chance though. It is probably because Brenda Song was so good as London. Oh OK...and Ashley Tisdale too. Geez.

You know each episode of that show cost $1 million to produce? In Iceland, no less?
Damn you both for mentioning this show. After watching this video, I can't get enough of it. The girl is so cute and spirited, I love it.

A few to add to the list:

Mythbusters: it's incredibly fun to watch, and its hard to believe I'm learning something when it's on TV.

Imagination Movers: fun music, fun characters, and Nina. One of the best kids shows ever.

Oldschool New Kids On The Block: They're new stuff is OK, but my junior high and high school years were built around denying that I liked their music, even when I did....and damn it, I still do.

    Hell, YES.

    Also...

    There's a 104 days of Summer Vacation,
And school comes along just to end it.
So the annual problem for our generation,
Is finding a good way to spend it.

    Like maybe ...
    Building a rocket,
    or fighting a mummy,
or climbing up the Eiffel Tower.

    Discovering something that doesn't exist,
or giving a monkey a shower.
    Surfing tidal waves,
    Creating nanobots,
    Or locating Frankenstein's brain.

    Phineas - "It's over here!"

    Finding a dodo bird,
    Painting a continent,
    Or driving our sister insane.

    Candace - "Phineas!"

    As you can see,
There's a whole lot of stuff to do before school starts this Fall.

    Phineas - "Come on Perry!"

    So stick with us,
Cause Phineas and Ferb are gonna do it all!

    So stick with us,
Cause Phineas and Ferb are gonna do it all!

Candace - "Mom! Phineas and Ferb are making a title sequence!"

Also, also, Hannah Montana and The Wizards of Waverly Place are damn funny.

Phineas and Ferb is on all the time at my house now. Dr. Doofenshmirtz makes the show great.

I *love* this show. That theme song is stuck in my head. My kids randomly sing, "Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated!". Out of the blue my 5-year old drew Perry complete with his spy fedora.

I have the theme song as my ringtone, but wanted to find a good Doofenshmirtz quote or even his theme but can't seem to find anything online.

The first thought that popped into my head was Alanis Morrissette. But, sadly I can't just limit it to her. I have an obscene amount of "chick" music on my iPod, from Alanis, to Sara Barellies, Colbie Calliat, Jewel, and Joss Stone, just to name a few. I just can't help myself.

My girlfriend of just a few months has also gotten me hooked on "So You Think You Can Dance" on Fox. I'm an Idol fan, so that prolly helped matters, but its actually a pretty interesting show.

Finally, I don't know if this counts, but America's Test Kitchen on PBS. The guy who hosts it wears a bow tie, and makes a cooking show pretty entertaining.

Those tv shows where they re-create hauntings. Not that Ghost Guidos show (Or whatever it is actually called) where it is a bunch of guys going around "investigating", but the ones where they are interviewing the individuals who witnessed the haunting in-between showing the events with actors.

My favorite episode involved a family in Salt Lake City who had polygamist Mormon ghosts.

1: Hell's Kitchen. I love watching Chef Ramsey yell and scream himself to near-death.

2: Yu Gi Oh GX - the kids love that show, and I love mocking it.

3: Making my own ringtones. To hell with spending two or three bucks on five seconds of music: I'll make my own. I guaren-damn-tee nobody has MY ringtones!

(Coincidentally, I can offer direction on how to do it, so PM me if interested.)

4: Kamen Rider W. For a man who doesn't like the KR series, this one is incredible. Five episodes in and i'm totally gripped.
