| #1 Posted on 22.6.08 1147.57 | Instant Rating: 4.48 | A friend and I were talking about how dull WWE and TNA programming has become recently. He observed that the comedic moments seem to be few and far between, so we talked about the funniest moments that just made out guts hurt from laughing.
We picked two moments from the old WWF:
1: Stone Cold Steve Austin, as owner or president of the WWF, teaching the receptionist how to answer the phone. "Welcome to the WWF, who the hell are you?" or "What the hell do you want". The receptionist looked almost horrified, but at the same time, had some fun with it.
2: Austin, again, getting a microphone that didn't work...and then commenting "You gonna give me a piece of equipment that works or I'm gonna whip your ass" or something like that. The spontaneity of the comment was incredibly funny.
What's everyone elses' favorite laugh out loud moments?

Inside are pictures of Vince, Owen, Gorilla, JR, and Sgt. Slaughter. He then breaks out a monster hunter's bow, sets up the pictures for deer hunting practice and plugs them all, saving Owen for the rear-end shot. The best moment is when Austin warns the cameraman that one of his steps is pretty big and "if you fall, I'll kick the shit outta ya."

Aw, you took mine. Yes, poor Sanders taking the Kanyon Cutter is funniest thing I've ever seen on a wrestling show.

A close second would be when the Ultimate Warrior was locked into the casket by the Undertaker. Second: The blackjacks against Bruiser and Crusher - Bobby Heenan was managing the blackjacks. The Bruiser and the Crusher murdered the Blackjacks and then threw them out of the ring while Bobby wasn't looking and he turned around and saw Bruiser and Crusher - Bobby got crazy scared and deked left and deked right - and dove - with hands in front of him clasped together like he was in the olympics - out of the ring. Bruiser and Crusher looked at each other and absolutely broke up - completely out of character. The announcer, Bob Luce, could not continue, he was laughing so hard - so they went to a commercial.

Eddie had a towel over his head and may have had his back turned when Chavo draped his opponets throat over the bottom rope, stood on him and bounced while yelling, "Look Eddie! I'm Cheating to Win!"
Spike Dudley ripping up Austin's petition for whatever Austin was petitioning for was a great moment as well. Austin's reaction of horror was great.
Actually, most moments with heel Austin were a lot of fun. Here is Spike calling Austin out a couple of days later http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POJefoOeNKo
There was also a time when Kane jumped The Undertaker while he was working on his motorcycle. Kane jumped into the screen and before he slammed Taker into the garage door he yells, "Hi Big Brother!"

You wanted the best, you got... Out of Context Quote of the Week. "Two men enter. One man leaves...with groceries." (SchippeWreck) A couple involving Kane:
Item the First: Intro to some PPV. Undertaker's taping his fists (he's in American Badass mode here, and this is when Kane had the whole Katie Vick angle going). Kane walks in, sits down, and turns to his brother (who's also being accused of cheating on Sara Taker). "So... how was your week?" (youtube.com)
Item the Second: The Rock, Hogan and Kane backstage, cutting a promo before their match against Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and X-Pac. Kane walks in and asks the Rock if he's ready. "Well, ye--" "IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU'RE READY!" And then proceeds to go on about the match, in the styles of both the Rock and Hogan, invoking the millions (and millions) of the Rock's fans, the 20,000 Hulkamaniacs, and even the 20,000 Kaneanites... to which the Rock turns to the camera (youtube.com) and mouths "Kaneanites?!"
Item the Third: Kane and Lita backstage at Raw XV... reunited and it feels so... awkward... (dailymotion.com)

He wasn't cleared to wrestle yet, so they had him come out and do commentary for a match, and they showed pictures of the wreck, and Eddie talked about it, then left. After he left, Heenan said "Yeah, can we show that picture again? The real tragedy is that there were 27 people in that car." Soooo racist, but Heenan somehow pulled it off.

#1. "The Rock, this is your life" - when Rock finally can't take it anymore and calls Foley an idiot because it wasn't even his birthday.
#2. HHH and Ric Flair pass JBL backstage during a PPV and HHH sarcastically says: "Hey Ric.....look.....it's the WRESTLING GOD" (Then they both walk away laughing)

The first five second pose, playing wrestlers' theme songs with their kazoo (long live the 'zoo!), making up their own words and phrases like the "facime" and "reaks of awesomeness" and many more antics with Kurt or Foley.
Also the Rock's reaction when Hurricane says he could beat the Scorpion King was priceless.
