This has been going around facebook for the past couple of days.

1 - Go to "wikipedia." Hit “random article” or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to "Random quotations" or click http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last few words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.

3 - Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”
or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4 - Use photoshop or similar to put it all together. A free web service to do this with is at http://www.textplusphoto.com

Thankfully I'm suffering from crippling insomnia.

Ugh. My indie band is named after an incumbent congressman. How cliche.

This was the first picture.

I skipped February 9, 2005 as my band name. If I was SSS or KJames I would have skipped theirs as well.

Ahh man. I have a feeling my first album has some pan flute accompanied by a heavily flanged acoustic guitar. At least it's not "Trapped in the Closet"...

This was fun, though I'm not quite as emo as my first album would seem to indicate.

These are all pretty awesome. It hasn't hit my facebook friends yet, but I wish it did instead of the "25 things I didn't want to know about you but you're going to tell me anyway."

Here's mine:

-- 2006 Time magazine Person of the Year --

"I remember meeting a mother of a child who was abducted by the North Koreans right here in the Oval Office."
— George W. Bush - June 26, 2008, during a Rose Garden news briefing.

I don't have access to photo editing software right now, but here's mine:

Bhutan Broadcasting Service
'Finding Something Else On the Way'
Cover: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jeffiebrown/3298297961/

(But, I wish I could have picked the fourth picture: http://www.flickr.com/photos/karin_in_paris/3299360131/)

Very, very cool idea.

In the Northwest, we usually stay home and wait a day for it to melt. Early morning ice is way more scary than snow, because people are more likely to drive like normal (or drive at all) and slide out.
