Gotta agree with AWA and Twister about NYPD Blue (even though I don't think it jumped the shark until about a year after Schroeder got on there - then it got dumb).

I'd love to have Seinfeld back on the air. I'm sure I'd still find it hilarious.

Also, I want Superstars and/or Shotgun Saturday Night back. I'm probably the only person here that thought it was cool to watch a WWF B show on saturday's at midnight (I was younger at the time, cut me a break).

I remember them being all jobber matches at midnights. I'd love for the days of WWF Cavalcade again.

A question to the NYPD Blue fans: what did everyone think about Mark-Paul Gosselaar on the show?

Speaking of him, I miss Saved By The Bell: the College Years. That show could have been so good if they didn't try it in primetime.

I totally second Quantum Leap and Oz. And Get A Life, if anyone said that. And WINGS.

Bill Nye decided his science cred was too important to risk with Speedwalker. That was a funny sketch.

    I liked the Lame List.

"Now that Soundgarden has broken up, this is your main gig."
    "Laaaaame."

"She's the Worst Girlfriend in the World! Next week - it's Dad's turn!"

"You know the ads that say 4 out of 5 dentists recommend cutting back on sugar? Well, I'm Number 5!"

I miss them, too.

I miss the cartoons I used to watch, but I have a feeling (like others have expressed) that I would be disappointed watching them now. I saw some old Transformers cartoons, and it was pretty depressing. Here's one to throw out there though - Mighty Orbots. I only remember this being on for one season, but I loved the show.

Otherwise, I miss Joel Hodgson's MST3K. Nelson was okay, but when they went to Pearl, the show just went bad.

(edit) Also, Babylon 5 was must-see TV for me. Hell of a series.

I liked him. Better than The Rick. But I never stopped enjoying the show, even though it got a bit sappy at times.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-air has to be the most replayed show currently on, except maybe Friends, so atleast there's that. Not the same as new episodes I guess, but it still cracks me up even though I've seen every episode 50 times.

I'd probably have to go with Angel too. It's probably my favorite show. I never thought it was getting stale, I just thought season 4 wasn't good. Season 5 was good and I'm sure it would've continued to be good if it had gone on. Season 1 and 2 were probably the best seasons, but that's pretty common for a lot of shows. Also I'll throw another one out there that I don't think anybody has said. I really loved Brisco County Jr.

I miss a lot of cartoons too, and some of them are pretty bad watching them again, especially He-Man and Thundercats but I still get a kick out of them. I think G.I. Joe has held up well. I'd love to get my hands on some Gobots or M.A.S.K.

Like eke, I never saw Sports Night when it came on but have seen it on DVD and now I wish it was still on, same for Firefly.

I hadn't thought of an answer to this thread yet, but you hit the nail on the head for me. Cartoons like Voltron, Thundercats, Swat Cats, the Centurions, Transformers, and that one with the football team who became the Nights of the Round Table. Those all were awesome. I do have a few Thundercats episodes, and they certainly don't hold up very much. But they are perfect for some late night drunken reminiscing.

Pete and Pete is another show I miss, but I'm definitely thrilled to have them on DVD because I can watch 3 or 4 of them in a row whenever I want.

ABC's Monday Night Football. Granted, you only got maybe one or two good games a season, but those were really good games. How much you wanna bet NBC's Sunday night games have the exact same ratio even with the scheduling.

I also miss The Man Show when Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carrola (sp?) were on it and writing for it. Futurama, Sea Lab 2021, and Batman: The Animated Series. I remember coming home and watching that every day all through middle school.

I'll second Kid Notorious.

The first ones I thought of when I saw this thread were Homicide: Life on the Streets and Dark Angel. Homicide was just all kinds of great week in and week out. Dark Angel was very good, but I thought they cut it short too soon. I started thinking about other shows also and I came up with Friday the 13th: The Series. Back in the early 90's when I was in the Army in California, they had a Friday night block of "horror" shows and I always made sure to catch this one. They basically ran around trying to recover lost items that had magical powers. I used to love that show. And of course, Saturday night wrestling on TBS. It was such a huge part of my childhood. And after typing that sentence, I am now very sad...

My wife and I liked the Brotherhood of Poland, NH. Very dissapointed it was cancelled after 5 episodes. I am hoping against hope it will be released on DVD.
