Likewise...but the TV show (well, game show) I was on is still running. Canadians in their late 20s will remember VIDEO and ARCADE TOP 10...I was on there twice, and won once.

    Anyhow...

The shows I miss, that I used to enjoy watching:

    Beakman's World
    Bill Nye the Science Guy
    Bizarre
    Camp Wilder
    Dead Like Me
    GI Joe
    GO BOTS
    WCW Saturday Night
    WWF Superstars
    WWF Cavalcade of Wrestling

I also remember a game show where the entire idea was to NOT LAUGH at a comedian. Can anyone remember it?

(edited by Oliver on 12.4.06 0826)

It was called "Make Me Laugh" and it was on til about 2001, i think.

That show scared me as a kid. My brother would always force me to watch it with him just to get me scared.

I noticed that no one put "Tuesday Night Titans" on their list. That was a classic.

I also miss "Starcade" the game show where kids would answer trivia questions about video games then challenge each other to play a certain game and the winner would win a video game.

I also liked "The Joker's Wild" with Jack Barry.

Was Frank Sinatra Jr. on "Manimal"?

No one mentioned "Cop Rock". Man was that a stinkeroo.

Hey Dude. Yes, I went there. And I mean it.

Also:
The Cosby Show
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
WCW Nitro
WCW Saturday Night (I actually miss this much more than Nitro as it provided me MUCH entertainment on Saturdays as a kid)
Seinfeld
New York Undercover (if only for the expositions set to music)

First off, number one is MST3K.

Oz next.

Then my favorite show to get cancelled after 6 episodes, and I have talked about this before. It was "The Usual Suspects" on Fox with Sam McMurray as the detective and YOU as the rookie partner. It was a murder mystery and the final segment was where Sam figured it out. My family and I would tape the show, watch it together, and pause it right before the final segment. Each of us would then give our thoughts on "who done it." Good times, good times.

Other Mtv shows that I really liked:

Alex Winter's (played Bill in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure) "The Idiot Box"
"The Jenny McCarthy Show" (Yes, I actually liked her show)
Andy Dick in "The Andy Dick Show" and "The Assistant"

Also gotta give a shout out to FOX's "The Ben Stiller Show"

Legends of the Hidden Temple's on Nick Games and Sports, I think, not the N. Starcade, dunno about that.

I never saw the '70s version, but man...I found the late '90s version to be virtually unwatchable. I remember watching it and thinking "Christ, why WOULD you laugh at this hacky crap?" I gave it a few chances, thinking that maybe one particular episode just had bad comedians, but I never found any of them to be particularly funny.

I miss Nick Arcade.

Actually the original Make Me Laugh was pretty good. The remake was horrible.

I just realized that I forgot to mention the greatest show in the history of television:

Absolutely agree....IMO, it was the best show on TV until 1998. Then Mr. Smits gets killed off and the show completely "Jumped the Shark". I tried my damndest to stick with it during the Rick Schroeder era, but he was so bad and unnatural in the part that they lost me as a regular viewer. I do own Seasons One and Two on DVD so far, Season Three is out and Season Four is coming out this summer.

I also miss "Dream On". They whetted our appetite by releasing Seasons One and Two on DVD, but there is no talk of releasing Seasons 3-6. Bastards.....

Another two shows come to mind:

NIGHT COURT is one: when it was in syndication in Toronto, I'd stay up until 1:30am to watch the episodes. I liked the series finale, though.

DOC is another show I loved...it's in syndication here in Canada, and I try to catch it whenever I can.

Obviously, the correct answer is Mission: Impossible. They used to show the reruns on fX back when it was fX instead of FX. You know, when it first started, they had a loft that took up an entire floor of a building overlooking a park in NYC, and most of their original shows were filmed in the building or in the park. Like Jeff Probst's viewer call-in show, or the morning show with Tom Bergeron and Regis' producer Gelman's wife Laurie Hibberd. Apparently Phil Keoghan worked as a roving reporter. God I miss that network.

I was going to tape all the old shows, but right when I started, they took it off and started playing Miami Vice instead. I got to see about 90% of the shows.

My love for Mission; Impossible is such that it outweighs my hate for Tom Cruise.

Dead Like Me is pretty much my only one. Too much was left to do.

The new Battlestar Galactica as well, but that's probably not the intent of the question, being as it'll be back for the next season in a few months... :-)

Talk Soup.

The Soup with Joel McHale is okay, but just not as good the old show when either Greg Kinnear or John Henson was hosting.
