The bullpen has been horrendous, Edgar Renteria has proven yet again that he is a National League player, Willis was a bust, Bonderman went down, Sheffield got old quick, the injury to Granderson damaged the line-up early, and the defense was similar to the Red Sox in 1996 when they started 3-16 with Kevin Mitchell playing spacious right field at Fenway. Thought when they made the run in July to get around .500 that they would go flying, then they just completely blew up. | It's False

We're in September and both teams are LONG out of it, and apparently letting their frustrations out on each other.

The only reason they made that run was because of interleague play where the Tigers destroyed NL pitching. And the main reason they are where they are is pitching period. Aside from Galarraga, they didn't have a single pitcher all year who showed any consistency (other than bad). Jones imploded. Verlander and Bonderman imploded. Rodney and Zumaya came back from injuries... and then imploded. |
