Anyone tried their sims out?

I ran a league last year involving only players from 1950-1975, no hall-of-famers or Pete Rose allowed on the team...

and won the league of course.
They also have full-season sims of football, pro basketball and hockey.

It looks really cool, and I've wanted to try one for a while. Unfortunately, they cost money, and I'm cheap so I haven't done one yet.

Anyone know of anything similar that's free (I know, I'm quite lame)?

You can do sample teams for free. Usually a couple-game season.

I'm too cheap to play it, too, but my brother and my dad both love it. I'm more into the ESPN Baseball Challenge based on the day's real stats.

I don't know, Chris Carpenter has been pretty damn awesome this year too. He's 12-4 with an ERA of 2.60, going 5-1 with an ERA below 1.00 (including two shutouts) since the start of June.
