It seems like the number of people seeing Dr. Andrews for neck injuries is increasing. Now we have Lita and Scotty 2 Hotty.
As a pre-emptive measure, the WWF should just film backstage vignettes of Brock Lesnar destroying every other superstar so that footage can be used when those wrestlers inevitably have to go for neck surgery.
Anyone see Jessica Alba on Letterman? She talked about Lita doing the Hurricanrana on her, but didn't mention Lita getting hurt... I don't know if she was told not to say anything because the WWF has plans for an angle, because she didn't know Lita was hurt, or maybe it was 'cause she didn't care. Speculate wildly.
Sharmell just got hurt in an OVW match, and is going to be examined by either Dr. Andrews or Youngblood. So yes, it's time to bring up someone else. I like the idea of Lita's injury being explained away by a Jazz/Molly beatdown, since they are calling the injury wrestling related. But Deadbeater is right, even though she was injured on the set, things like that happen. there should be at least an attempt at cross promotion more than a week from the show.
Next weeks TV guide has a synopsis for the season finale of Dark Angel and it doesn't even mention Lita. It seems to me that the WWF is dropping the promotions ball on this. There is only going to be one or two mentions of it in passing, so how much cross promotion into (more)popular culture are they really interested in??

I read that Lita's injury came in the middle of filming, and they had to reduce her role as a result.
FWIW, I'd have Heyman hit on Lita and striking out BIG time. The Incensed Heyman goes to Lesnar and says, "Kill!" Brock stalks into her dressing room, slamming the door behind him. We hear some crashes, etc (like Chyna taking out the Ho's). And when the cameraman gathers up the nerver to go in, Lita is a crumpled heap/stain on the floor.
2002 rspw Quote of the Year: JR--"Lita's no Cheater"
Well, I think big heel characters have to have a certain type of charisma. I was a kid when the Sheik and Bundy were around, but I had their big rubber LJN figures and always had them (along with Big John Studd) work over Hogan.
