Hey kids, remember when WCW ran segments on Nitro in the wrong order? Well, right now, on Smackdown, they're running the Chuck Rock (my other name for them was deemed a little too offensive by... well, someone else) vs. Venis/Hardcore match.
Yeah, the one they taped for VELOCITY. It still has the green lights near the stage and Velocity logo in the entrance. Disclaimer: If they had any explanations, I muted the TV. Sorry, but Abandoned Pools takes precedence over Cole ANY day.
Originally posted by PhantomIt doesn't matter who else they get. It could be Cole and Heenan, Cole and Monsoon, Cole and the reincarnated spirit of Bill Hicks.... it's still gonna suck, because it's COLE.
I spit out my Pepsi reading that, thank yew...
Hell -- Gordon Solie could be doing color, and it'd still suck.
Mark Ma-- Forget it.
Really? I think Cole's te most imporved announcer, and personally I prefer Cole and Tazz to King/JR. Sure, Cole can be annoying at time, but no more annoying than JR can be. Also, Cole and Tazz, unlike EVERY single OTHER annoucne team in this business, know when to shut the hell up and generally don't talk during promos. I give these guys major props. Sure, they're no D'Lo Coach, but they are on their way to becoming the A-Team of the WWE in my book.
An open letter to Andrew Gilkison from me: Sir, I am no longer pleased with your product and thus will not read it. I am the consumer and your product is not living up to my expectations. I could open up an Andrew Gilkison message board and cry about it, but that's a waste of my time. In the meantime, I would suggest you work on improving your product. Thank you.
Watching RAW and Smackdown doesn't cost anymore than your posts do. And so, like a good consumer, I'm tuning you out.
Jobber against O'Haire was Tommy Drake. He comes from Phoenix, AZ, and has fought for UPW & Pro Wrestling Iron. Jobber in match #2 was Chad Collyer, a former developmental worker trained by Dean Malenko.
