But I'll still take Depeche Mode, New Order, The Cure over most of what you kids are listening to today. Still... there is one act that I was actually NUTS over back in the day that is more than just a little embarrasing: TWISTED SISTER!!! I had everything of these guys at one point - posters, the albums, a Twisted Sister black-satin jacket (rock on!); I even went to see them in concert once. Top THAT. The book... is... HERE!!! Inside The Ropes lives on!!! The official Canadian Bulldog Blog, Website, and Merchandise Center.

Ditto, minus the jacket, but I saw them 3 times. "Oh it's on like Donkey Kong !!!" - Stifler, American Wedding

BLASPHEMY!!!! Journey was, and still is, one of my favorite bands and still gets a ton of play in my house. I even got my kids to listen to them. I grew up in the late 70s and all through the 80s and I agree with a lot of other posters here - I am not embarrassed of any of the music I listened to back then. My kids, on the other hand, are embarrassed of me signing these songs. Life is hilariously cruel.
It ain't the six minutes... it's what happens in that six minutes.

Another non-Wal*Marter here. It helps, of course, that I don't live in a town where W*M is the only place to buy stuff.
