Yeah. Last time I tried to argue evolution online, I ended up (after several days) realizing that I was spending half an hour every night researching and writing a post, whereas my opponent admitted he hadn't read a single book in the field. At that point, I decided to walk away.

I've generally gotten a lot less tolerant of religion after the Dover trial and Terri Schiavo.

I had a very similar experience arguing with somebody against 9/11 conspiracy theories. It's incredibly frustrating.
