Cowboy Bebop was fun.

Though I have a soft spot for Fist of the North Star...

Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 is my favorite series by far.

I haven't watched an incredible amount, but from what I have seen I prefer BGC.

Blue Seed (It's like a modern version of Inu Yasha, except the story doesn't get incredibly old)
    Samurai Champloo
Nana (although the series can only be found on Youtube from the US right now)
Gundam Wing (The series that got me into anime)
    Mobile Suit Gundam
    Outlaw Star
    Silent Mobius
    Witch Hunter Robin

    Movies:
    Vampire Hunter D
Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (Animation is WAY better, in case you're turned off by the first one)
    Spirited Away
    Princess Mononoke
    Akira
    Ninja Scroll
Golgo 13: Queen Bee (Although I liked it more because I really liked the "Queen Bee" character)

    OAVs (Mini-series basically):
    Tekkaman Blade II
    Night Warriors/Darkstalkers

That's all I can think of, for now. I wish I could think of more stuff that wasn't shown on Cartoon Network, but I'm more into manga these days.

I'd have to say I definately agree with your picks here...I am towards the end of Naruto right now and loved every minute of it. Loved Golgo 13 but even better than that is your choice of Tekkaman Blade. I have the original and that was one of my favorites ever.

I'd like to add the Nadesico series, as you can buy all 12 episodes on one dvd. I'd like to add the shows Bleach and Paranoia Agent to shows I enjoy. I've heard that Ranma 1/2 is pretty good. Finally as for a movie, if you candle something a little more graphic later on I'd suggest Wicked City.

Finally, this website has recently lost a lot of its episodes but if you want a list and descriptions of anime I would try keiichianimeforever.com

Now there were two Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo's, right? I managed to see the whole 2040 series, and one episode of the weirder-animated one...and the 2040 was much better IMO.

Outlaw Star I forgot about.

My old roommate used to watch a lot of anime. The only one I ever liked was Cowboy Bebop.

Not an anime enthusiast, but I'll second, err..third... err, whatever the Star Blazers love.

I also liked the first Robotech as a kid. Macross or whatever its official name was. I watched it on Cartoon Network in early 1998 and I thought it still held up pretty well. The ending always shocked me.. the good guys sorta' win, but the entire Earth gets devastated. I also thought it was a somewhat practical military use of the "giant robot" concept-- they operate 'em like standard navy fighter jets.

There's an "expanded universe" of the entire franchise, with novels, re-makes, continuations, etc. But for a satisfying self-contained story (well, about 24 episodes), the Robotech/Macross series is worth checking out.

As a teenager, I used to worry intensely that dead relatives were watching me masturbate. Not that it stopped me. I don't really give it much thought on a regular basis. It would be great if there were some physical proof, though.
